Brilliant Express tracked the speed on the fence and after leading 250m out, he was too good for a fourth win from 20 starts. He's always a chance over 1,400m. All's Well ran on nicely for second after switching into the open 300m out travelling behind midfield. He's run well to place in his past two of three starts in this grade. Aerovolanic stayed on well for third after a handy run wide with cover from gate 14. It was a better effort at his second of two runs. Complete Unknown stayed on well for fifth after a four wide trip travelling behind midfield from gate 13. Dreaming Together dashed late for sixth ridden for luck from gate 10. Uranus Star was on his tippy toes 100m out after rushing forward to share the lead 1,200m out after a tardy start. Everyone's Star only plodded when asked for an effort after a wide with cover trip travelling midfield from gate seven.

Race Eleven : (704) - SIU MA SHAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters

Horse No 1 EVERYONE'S STAR (K172) J Moreira J Moreira reported that his mount lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight and its run ended near the 150 Metres where it commenced to give ground.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 2 AEROVOLANIC (K400) Z Purton Near the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of TIN FOOK to improve.

Approaching the 350 Metres AEROVOLANIC became unbalanced when it made contact with EVERYONE'S STAR which lay in.

Horse No 3 BRILLIANT EXPRESS (J321) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 4 URANUS STAR (K511) H Y Yuen On jumping made contact with the left side of the starting gate.

Shortly after URANUS STAR bumped with ALL'S WELL.

Horse No 5 DREAMING TOGETHER (L215) C L Chau Bumped after the 1300 Metres.

Horse No 6 NATURAL NUMBERS (L166) E Brown Bumped at the start.

E Brown stated that the instructions were to be handy but after being caught wide in the early stages he allowed his mount to stride forward to avoid covering additional ground.

Horse No 7 ALL'S WELL (K294) C Y Ho Bumped at the start.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 8 HAPPY BOSS (K453) L Ferraris L Ferraris reported that his mount was not comfortable on the "Yielding" track conditions.

Horse No 9 KEMPES (J265) J Orman From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 10 COMPLETE UNKNOWN (L219) K C Leung Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 11 WELL ENOUGH (L029) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.

After the 1300 Metres made contact with DREAMING TOGETHER and raced tight to the inside of that runner.

Horse No 12 WITHOUT RHYME (L077) Y L Chung The performance of WITHOUT RHYME, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, WITHOUT RHYME will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 13 GHORGAN (K199) A Badel Bounded on jumping and lost ground.

A Badel stated that his mount was able to obtain a position behind midfield where it travelled satisfactorily.

He said under pressure in the Home Straight GHORGAN failed to respond to his riding.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 14 TIN FOOK (K167) A Atzeni A Atzeni reported that he was instructed to go forward.

He said TIN FOOK raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and failed to run out the 1400 Metres on the "Yielding" track.

After the running of Race 6, the track classification was officially changed from "Good to Yielding" to "Yielding" This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.

As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 6 being run on a track rated "Yielding"

13 May 2026 Happy Valley Racemeeting Race 8 (692) AMAZING KID - Passing the 50 Metres was steadied to avoid AURIO (Z Purton) which shifted out when not clear.

Z Purton was reprimanded.
