Horse No 3 SHOW ME YOUR LOVE (L355) H Bowman Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No 5 SPICE BAG (L244) J Orman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 EVER WEALTH (L317) H Y Yuen Had its left hind plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
On jumping shifted out and away from SHOW ME YOUR LOVE and as a result was corrected by its rider Apprentice H Y Yuen.
Horse No 7 GAUDIUM MAGNUM (L345) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly.
When placed under pressure in the Home Straight raced greenly and proved difficult to ride out.
Horse No 9 SECRET INGREDIENT (L290) H Bentley H Bentley stated that the intention was to go forward and lead the event.
He said when SECRET INGREDIENT jumped awkwardly and lost ground it settled further back in the field than expected.
He said in the early stages SECRET INGREDIENT raced keenly and near the 800 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid TALENTS CHAMPION.
He added, in his opinion, SECRET INGREDIENT did not appreciate the "Good to Yielding??track conditions.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Spice Bag was given a patient ride and quickened nicely near the far side to take control 50m out for a smart debut win. He has the tools to handle up to 1,400m going forward. Favourite Sharp Planet gave a cheeky sight after assuming the lead in the centre of the track 700m out from gate five. It was an encouraging debut effort. Ever Wealth begrudgingly gave way after leading for the first 300m. It was a positive debut performance. Punted late, debutant Gaudium Magnum plugged on for fourth after a handy run near the far side from gate one. Newcomer Almighty Warrior kept on one paced after a prominent run. Another first-time starter Show Me Your Love made a mild bid from behind midfield after a slow start. Talents Champion didn't find much after sitting near the front from gate seven. He could not back up a debut third last month.
