Race Nine : (662) - CONGHUA RACECOURSE 2000M HANDICAP - Class 3 - 2000Meters
Horse No 1 AERODYNAMICS (K564) Z Purton Approaching the winning post shifted out and made contact with ENTHUSIUM which also shifted in slightly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 FALLON (H219) P N Wong Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with MONEY CATCHER.
Raced keenly in the early stages.
Near the 1600 Metres was steadied to avoid MISSION GIANT.
Horse No 3 POPE CODY (K313) J Orman Shortly after the start shifted in and made contact with LE ZONDA.
After the 1600 Metres was hampered when taken wider by MISSION GIANT which shifted out when racing keenly.
J Orman stated that his mount was hampered after the 1600 Metres which resulted in him having to come back to obtain cover.
He added that POPE CODY failed to handle the "Soft" track conditions.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 LE ZONDA (L110) C L Chau Bumped on jumping.
Near the 1400 Metres, when racing keenly, improved to the inside of ENTHUSIUM (A Atzeni) which shifted out slightly.
When ENTHUSIUM then shifted back in LE ZONDA made contact with the running rail and became unbalanced when crowded to the inside of ENTHUSIUM.
A Atzeni was advised to exercise more care.
Horse No 7 MONEY CATCHER (G171) K C Leung Bumped at the start.
K C Leung stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event but did not appreciate the "Soft" track conditions.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 ENTHUSIUM (L107) A Atzeni Shifted out on jumping and bumped LE ZONDA.
Bumped approaching the winning post.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 SHAMUS STORM (K031) H Bentley After travelling a short distance became unbalanced when it made contact with MIGHTY STRENGTH.
H Bentley stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight which he attributed to the "Soft" track conditions.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 MIGHTY STRENGTH (H450) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly.
After travelling a short distance MIGHTY STRENGTH then made contact with SHAMUS STORM.
Near the 1800 Metres was steadied when racing in restricted room between FLYING LUCK and SHAMUS STORM.
Horse No 11 MISSION GIANT (K577) E C W Wong Raced keenly in the early stages.
Near the 1800 Metres was steadied to avoid PRESTIGE GOOD (Apprentice H Y Yuen) which shifted in when not clear.
Apprentice Yuen was severely reprimanded.
After the 1600 Metres, when racing keenly, shifted out when being steadied to avoid SHAMUS STORM.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Early favourite Enthusium was given a patient ride sitting fourth last and timed things perfectly to just beat Aerodynamics for a first win at his fourth local start. Aerodynamics was just touched off late after reclaiming the lead from Prestige Good 200m out. It was another solid run carrying top weight following a last start win. It was a fair way back to Prestige Good who went forward from gate six to assume the lead 1,200m out. It was a return to form after running below par in three consecutive runs. Flying Luck stayed on for fourth after a prominent run on the fence. It was a pleasing effort at his first start over 2,000m. Mighty Strength ran on steadily for fifth after a rails run from midfield. Le Zonda stayed on for sixth after improving near the inside 1,200m from the rear of the field. He's naturally coming to hand from his five local starts.
