Racing Incident Report
Race One : (654) - CELEBRATING OUR SHARED CHAMPION SPIRIT 1200M HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 ALWAYS FLUKE (H252) H Bentley On jumping was crowded by KING ALLOY which shifted in.
H Bentley stated that after commencing well he elected to go forward to attempt to cross runners to his inside.
He said when GIMME FIVE held its position to his inside ALWAYS FLUKE was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
He said as a result ALWAYS FLUKE did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 AUTUMN VIBES (K150) Z Purton Jumped awkwardly and then shortly after was checked when crowded by DIRIYA which shifted out.
Near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being restrained to avoid MAJESTIC DELIGHT.
AUTUMN VIBES continued to race keenly for some distance thereafter and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight.
Trainer B Crawford stated that since being transferred to his stable the horse had pleased him with two barrier trials but he was disappointed with today's performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 GIMME FIVE (J099) L Ferraris On jumping was crowded between SUPREME WINNER and AUTUMN VIBES.
Near the 600 Metres and again approaching the 300 Metres L Ferraris was obliged to reposition his left foot in the stirrup.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 6 DIRIYA (K282) C L Chau Shifted out at the start and made contact with AUTUMN VIBES.
When being crossed leaving the 1000 Metres by TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR raced keenly, got its head up and refused to settle.
DIRIYA then raced keenly for some distance thereafter.
C L Chau reported that after failing to settle in the early and middle stages DIRIYA gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 GLORY CLOUD (H320) E C W Wong E C W Wong was reprimanded for using his whip on a horse that was clearly out of contention.
Horse No 8 HAPPY ALLIANCE (K316) J Orman From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 9 CALL TO COMMAND (J243) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 BASIC INSTINCT (K289) M L Yeung Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
For some distance near the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between DIRIYA and KING ALLOY which shifted out and away from CALL TO COMMAND.
Noted to have sustained an abrasion to its left front leg after the race.
Horse No 11 KING ALLOY (K099) R Kingscote Shifted in on jumping and was bumped.
Horse No 12 CIRCUIT VICTORY (H487) P N Wong Apprentice P N Wong stated that the intention was to go forward.
She said her mount commenced only fairly and then was crowded between GOOD FORTUNE and ALWAYS FLUKE which resulted in CIRCUIT VICTORY settling back in the field.
Horse No 13 TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR (H430) H Y Yuen Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 14 SUPREME WINNER (J255) A Badel Shifted in on jumping and made contact with GIMME FIVE.
Approaching the 200 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of MAJESTIC DELIGHT.

Triumphant Warrior was hustled to lead from gate eight and found plenty for a first win at start 27. Call To Command stayed on well for fourth after a prominent run on the fence. He appreciated a step back to the 1,200m trip of a placing at his first Class Five run in March. King Alloy plugged on nicely for third after working over from gate 13 to prompt the pace. He's racing well without winning across both tracks. Majestic Delight ran on nicely for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. He has honest Sha Tin 1,200m form. Supreme Winner made good ground late for fifth after weaving his way into the clear near the 100m after a patient ride fourth last from gate seven. It was another pleasing effort after a win last start.
