Jubilant Winner led from gate six and never looked back for a fourth win at his first start over the Valley 1,200m from eight starts this term. He's in the form of his life and can win again in this grade. Punted late Aurio stayed on nicely for second after a one-off trip from midfield. It was another good performance carrying 10lb more following a last start win. Sovereign Fund stayed on well for third after tracking the winner from gate eight. It was a return to form after two disappointing runs. Favourite Packing Glory just held on for fourth after a box seat run following a sluggish start. It was another honest effort. Wings Of War just failed to garner fourth prize money after a one-out, one-back run. Flying Fortress was doing his best work late to finish next best without threatening the top five after making his run at the rear from gate 12. He's better suited over a mile trip. Love Together just held his ground after a rail run from behind midfield. Greater Bae made some ground without threatening with one wider out after biding his time fourth last from gate nine. He didn't get the pace run to suit.

Race Nine : (633) - ROSELLE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

Horse No 1 AURIO (K056) Z Purton Over the final 200 Metres lay in under pressure, resulting in its rider Z Purton having to change his whip through to his right hand near the 100 Metres.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 2 MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE (J325) E Brown Shifted out on jumping and made contact with SOVEREIGN FUND.

Near the 550 Metres lay in and made contact with the running rail.

Held up for clear running on the Home Turn.

Horse No 3 LOVE TOGETHER (L052) J Moreira Jumped only fairly.

J Moreira stated that his mount failed to travel throughout the event and he was disappointed with its finishing effort.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 4 MY DAY MY WAY (J519) C L Chau C L Chau stated that the intention was to hold a midfield position.

He said when caught wide in the early stages MY DAY MY WAY was obliged to race further back in the field than intended and found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight from that position.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 5 FLYING FORTRESS (J445) H Bowman From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 6 GREATER BAE (L033) A Atzeni A Atzeni stated that his mount was under pressure from the 600 Metres and failed to run on under riding in the Home Straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 7 SOVEREIGN FUND (J402) K Teetan Bumped on jumping.

K Teetan confirmed that he had been instructed to take up a forward position as it was expected there would be a lack of pace in the event.

Horse No 8 KANSAS (L305) H Bentley On jumping became unbalanced when it shifted out and made contact with WINGS OF WAR.

A short distance later shifted in and made contact with PACKING GLORY.

Horse No 9 JUBILANT WINNER (J346) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 10 WINGS OF WAR (H162) B Avdulla Bumped on jumping.

Horse No 11 WITHOUT RHYME (L077) Y L Chung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 12 PACKING GLORY (L013) R Kingscote Bumped shortly after the start.

Races 3 - 9 were each put back 5 minutes.

After the running of Race 1, the track classification was officially changed from "Good" to "Good to Firm" This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.

As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 1 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm"

14 February 2026 Sha Tin Racemeeting Race 8 (441) SOLID CAR - A further assessment of the respiratory condition did not reveal any significant findings.

Whip Rule Offences - 19 April 2026 Sha Tin Racemeeting The following jockey was found to be in breach of Rule 100(3)(ii)(a) for using the whip on consecutive occasions:- Race 6 (619) J Moreira (PERFECT TEAM)- 2 consecutive strides near the 200 Metres - Severe Reprimand Race 9 (622) J Moreira (EVERYONE'S STAR) - 2 consecutive strides near the 200 Metres and again near the 150 Metres - Severe Reprimand Race 2 (615) K Teetan (NOBLE DELUXE) was severely reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on two occasions near the 100 Metres.

Race 3 (616) M F Poon (MAPOGO) was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 150 Metres.

Race 8 (621) A Atzeni (TIN FOOK) was fined the sum of $5,000 in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion over the concluding stages.
