Horse No 1 MOMENTS IN TIME (H474) L Hewitson Near the 350 Metres was steadied to avoid NEW FOREST which was giving ground.

Horse No 2 STUNNING PEACH (J301) Y L Chung Jumped only fairly.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Near the 200 Metres Y L Chung dropped his whip.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 4 PATCH OF COSMO (J357) Z Purton Jumped only fairly.

Z Purton stated that his mount raced too keenly during the race and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 5 AWESOME FLUKE (J050) J Orman Approaching the 1200 Metres raced keenly when it was steadied to avoid SERAPH GABRIEL.

Between the 500 Metres and the 350 Metres made contact with SERAPH GABRIEL on a number of occasions as it prevented SERAPH GABRIEL from shifting out.

Horse No 7 NEW FOREST (K094) R Kingscote The performance of NEW FOREST, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, NEW FOREST will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 8 JOY OF SPRING (H383) J Moreira Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 9 SWORD POINT (G448) M F Poon Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 10 SKY HEART (J092) E C W Wong Approaching the 450 Metres was held up for clear running behind VOYAGE SAMURAI as that runner commenced to give ground.

Horse No 11 VOYAGE SAMURAI (J026) M L Yeung A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.

Before being allowed to race again, VOYAGE SAMURAI will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 12 KA YING GENERATION (J075) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 13 SERAPH GABRIEL (L108) H Bentley Between the 500 Metres and the 350 Metres made contact with AWESOME FLUKE on a number of occasions when it endeavoured to obtain clear running to the outside of SWORD POINT.

Near the 350 Metres SERAPH GABRIEL was disappointed for clear running and then was held up until near the 250 Metres.

After being shifted to the inside of SWORD POINT passing the 250 Metres to obtain clear running then raced tight to the inside of SWORD POINT until near the 100 Metres.

Horse No 14 NAUTICAL FORCE (L187) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.

After the running of Race 4, the track classification for the turf course was officially changed from "Good" to "Good to Firm" This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.

As a consequence of this, the official results will show Races 3 and 4 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm"

Z Purton was fined the sum of $5,000 for a breach of Rule 155(5) for improper conduct on the morning of 17 April 2026.

Race 6 (610) L Ferraris (CLOUD NINE) was fined the sum of $5,000 in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 150 Metres.
