Racing Incident Report
Race One : (614) - RACING FOR CHARITY 1800M HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Meters
Horse No 1 FOREMOST TEDDY (J058) P N Wong Near the 1500 Metres made contact with SPANGLE FORTUNE when SPANGLE FORTUNE was positioned tight to the inside of HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 HAILTOTHEVICTORS (J508) L Ferraris Lay in in the Home Straight.
Horse No 3 MANAGEMENT FOLKS (E496) J Orman Slow to begin.
Horse No 4 FIREFOOT (J183) K Teetan When making a forward move near the 700 Metres made contact with ALL ARE MINE when that runner shifted out slightly.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 VIVA TASTE (K415) M F Poon Passing the 200 Metres shifted in abruptly, resulting in its rider M F Poon having to stop riding and straighten his mount.
M F Poon stated that the instructions were to hold a more forward position but after jumping only fairly his mount failed to show sufficient pace in the early stages to comply with those instructions.
Horse No 6 MEGA FORCE (K200) A Atzeni Near the 1500 Metres made contact with the running rail when racing tight to the inside of FIREFOOT.
When being eased to allow SPANGLE FORTUNE to cross in the early stages commenced to race keenly and as a result was steadied to avoid SPANGLE FORTUNE near the 1200 Metres.
Near the 150 Metres raced in restricted room between ALL ARE MINE and SPANGLE FORTUNE which shifted out.
Horse No 7 SPANGLE FORTUNE (G427) M Chadwick Bumped at the start.
Bumped near the 1500 Metres.
M Chadwick reported that his mount did not run out the 1800 Metres of today's race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 SUPER HONG KONG (D241) R Kingscote Near the 1200 Metres was steadied to avoid MEGA FORCE.
Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.
Horse No 9 HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER (J002) Y L Chung When commencing to give ground near the 200 Metres raced in restricted room between ALL ARE MINE and MEGA FORCE which was taken out by SPANGLE FORTUNE.
Y L Chung stated that his mount did not run out the 1800 Metres of today's race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 MEEPMEEP (H234) H Bowman On jumping shifted in and made contact with SPANGLE FORTUNE.
Horse No 11 ALL ARE MINE (H293) Z Purton Near the 700 Metres made contact with FIREFOOT.
Horse No 12 CONSPIRACY WITNESS (J541) B Avdulla B Avdulla reported that when pressured from the 500 Metres his mount did not respond to his riding and gave ground in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 13 ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT (J524) H Bentley Near the 100 Metres raced in restricted room between MEEPMEEP and HAILTOTHEVICTORS which shifted in slightly.
H Bentley stated that the intention was to hold a forward position.
He said despite riding his mount along in the early stages he was unable to hold a more forward position.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 14 ALL EYES ON ME (J453) M L Yeung From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Foremost Teddy assumed the outright lead 1,160m out from Happydearhappydeer and kept on gamely for a third win from 10 starts this term. He has excellent all-weather form in Class Five. Firefoot ran on well to finish a neck second taking off 700m out following a wide trip without cover from midfield. It was another solid effort on this surface following a downgrade. All Are Mine dashed strongly through the centre to finish a close third after making his run second last from gate 11. He's a winner waiting to happen with placings in three of his past four starts across both surfaces. Hailtothevictors was doing some nice work late near the outside for fourth after making his run third last from gate 10. It was another good performance carrying 6lb more following a last-start win.
