Horse No BLAZING WUKONG (K335) M F Poon Withdrawn on 5.4.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (inappetence) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter NOISY BOY.
Before being allowed to race again, BLAZING WUKONG will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Well-backed Silvery Breeze had a dream run in the box seat from gate two and just got the better of favourite Sky Vino 50m out for a second win, to go with three seconds and two fourths this term. He should hold his own up in grade off a lighter weight. Sky Vino just found one too good after leading from gate one. It was another solid performance over his favourite Valley 1,650m. Violet Star ran on well for third without threatening the first two following a rails run from midfield. He was able to build on a pleasing fifth at his initial Valley 1,650m run last start. Punted late Stormi gradually faded after chasing the speed from gate six. It was his best effort from seven starts in the grade. Noisy Boy was on his tippy toes 100m out after circling the field from towards the rear 800m out to get to second 100m out. Romantic Gladiator came up one paced when asked for more following a prominent run. He's shown hints of ability on his three local runs but is still acclimatising. Lucky Twin Stars kept up an even gallop after a wide trip without cover from better than midfield. He had an excuse.
