Horse No 2 HELIOS EXPRESS (H302) H Bowman Was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Between the 350 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Horse No 5 BEAUTY WAVES (H294) A Badel Bumped after the 100 Metres.
Horse No 6 LUCKY WITH YOU (E356) K Teetan Approaching the 100 Metres improved into a narrow run between STELLAR EXPRESS and BEAUTY WAVES and as a result made contact with BEAUTY WAVES.

Ka Ying Rising had a sluggish start but soon recovered to track leader Stellar Express and after getting on top 280m out, he drew clear for a 19th straight win. It was another track record. Helios Express came from last to occupy his usual spot in second. He's a very smart sprinter in his own right but has run into a once-in-a-generation horse. Raging Blizzard charged late to make it close for second after biding his time one from the rear. It was an honest run. Lucky With You put his head down late for fourth after a rails run from midfield. It was one of his better efforts this term. Beauty Waves just plodded after sitting third in the run. Tomodachi Kokoroe produced only a grinding result after a one-off trip from midfield. He's had his time in the limelight. Stellar Express was a fading last after dictating a genuine pace from gate six. He's not a 1,200m horse.
