Favourite Rising Force showed terrific gate speed to lead from gate seven and comfortably made all for a second win and two seconds from four course and distance runs this term. He has the tools to head higher. Geneva finished very well to overhaul Happy Index for second after a patient ride fourth last from gate eight. He was able to build on a closing third last start at his first run back following an injury-induced break. Happy Index kept on well for third after working hard to track the eventual winner carrying top weight from gate 11. It was a good run in defeat. Jubilant Winner stayed on for fourth after a handy run one off the fence. He didn't disgrace carrying 7lb more following a win. Red Maestro was doing his best work late near the outside to just get the head down for fifth after a one-off trip from midfield. It was an encouraging run.

Race Ten : (563) - WU YEE SUN ALUMNI HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

Horse No 2 GENEVA (J114) H Bowman From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

For a short distance after the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between JUBILANT WINNER and RED MAESTRO.

In this incident GENEVA made contact with RED MAESTRO.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 3 RISING FORCE (K236) R Kingscote Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 4 JUBILANT WINNER (J346) A Badel Bumped near the 400 Metres.

Horse No 5 PERFECTDAY (K238) J Orman Shortly after the start made contact with BEAUTY GLORY.

Leaving the 1000 Metres was eased when racing tight between RED MAESTRO and AKERMANIS GOLD, both of which shifted ground slightly.

Horse No 6 DOUBLE MONEY (K512) M L Yeung From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 7 RED MAESTRO (L030) A Atzeni Shortly after the start was bumped.

When being shifted to the outside of JUBILANT WINNER approaching the 350 Metres lay in and as a result proved reluctant to shift to that runner's outside.

Bumped after the 300 Metres.

Horse No 8 VULCANUS (J150) H T Mo Jumped only fairly and then raced tight to the inside of JUBILANT WINNER shortly after the start.

Near the 650 Metres was steadied to avoid GENEVA.

Approaching the 400 Metres endeavoured to improve to the outside of GRIT SPIRIT when there was not sufficient room to do so.

As a result VULCANUS made contact with DOUBLE MONEY, resulting in DOUBLE MONEY becoming unbalanced.

H T Mo was advised to exercise more care.

Horse No 9 EMBRACE ABERDEEN (L020) M F Poon Raced keenly in the early stages when being steadied to allow HAPPY INDEX to cross.

Horse No 10 GRIT SPIRIT (L116) K C Leung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 11 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) Y L Chung Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.

Passing the 100 Metres, when giving ground, was steadied when crowded by AKERMANIS GOLD (M Chadwick) which shifted in when not clear.

M Chadwick was reprimanded.

Horse No 12 ARMOUR WAR EAGLE (J039) K Teetan Raced ungenerously in the early stages when being shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier.

After improving to the inside of VULCANUS after the 600 Metres then became unbalanced when racing tight to the inside of VULCANUS which shifted in and away from DOUBLE MONEY after being taken in slightly by that runner.

Near the 200 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running to the inside of PERFECTDAY which shifted in slightly.

K Teetan stated that after being steadied near the 200 Metres his mount finished the race off fairly thereafter.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 13 AKERMANIS GOLD (L031) M Chadwick Near the 400 Metres made contact with JUBILANT WINNER when endeavouring to obtain clear running to the outside of EMBRACE ABERDEEN.

As a result AKERMANIS GOLD had difficulty obtaining clear running for a short distance thereafter.

Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when awkwardly placed close to HAPPY INDEX.
