Race Three : (547) - KWAI CHUNG HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 A TIME FOR US (K475) B Avdulla After travelling a short distance made contact with GOLDEN EMPIRE due to both runners shifting ground.
Leaving the 900 Metres shifted in and made contact with GOLDEN EMPIRE.
Horse No 2 GOLDEN EMPIRE (E490) L Ferraris After travelling a short distance made contact with A TIME FOR US due to both runners shifting ground.
Leaving the 900 Metres was bumped by A TIME FOR US which shifted in.
Over the concluding stages raced tight between BITS SUPERSTAR and LEADING AGILITY, both of which shifted ground slightly.
L Ferraris stated that his mount raced "flat" tonight.
Horse No 3 ORIGIN OF FORM (K517) M F Poon Bumped at the start.
Horse No 4 AMAZING VICTORY (G123) C Y Ho Near the 500 Metres shifted out when being steadied to avoid WATCH THIS ONE.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 THE HEIR (H459) J Orman Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.
Approaching the 300 Metres blundered when being shifted to the outside of WATCH THIS ONE to obtain clear running.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 HONEST WITNESS (K283) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 LEADING AGILITY (K553) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Shortly after the start blundered when awkwardly placed on the heels of SUNNY Q when being shifted behind that runner.
Held up making the Home Turn behind GOLDEN EMPIRE.
Horse No 9 VIVA BOSS (L139) K C Leung Bumped shortly after the start.
K C Leung stated that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and making the turn after the 600 Metres lay out.
He added in the Home Straight the horse failed to respond to his riding and gave ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 SUNNY Q (J223) H Bentley Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between VIVA BOSS and THE HEIR which shifted out and away from BITS SUPERSTAR.
H Bentley stated that his mount, which was having its first race start at Happy Valley, travelled only fairly in the early stages but he was satisfied with its finishing effort in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 WATCH THIS ONE (K268) A Atzeni Near the 600 Metres was eased to avoid VIVA BOSS which lay out.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 12 GIDDY UP (J020) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with ORIGIN OF FORM.
Between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of WATCH THIS ONE.

Punted late Honest Witness led from gate eight, straightened nearly two lengths on top and just held on for a maiden win at his 12th start. The Heir ran on strongly to finish a close second after making his run five back and one off the fence. It was another honest performance. A Time For Us got going late for third after a one-off trip from midfield. It was an improved performance following a downgrade and switch to the Valley. Leading Agility ran on nicely for fourth travelling fourth last after a slow start. It was an improved effort for his new trainer after coming up flat in back-to-back Sha Tin runs. Bits Superstar weakened over the last 100m out after a speed-tracking run from gate eight. He couldn't back up seconds in three prior starts. Golden Empire ran on steadily without threatening after a rails run from midfield. Origin Of Form ran on without threatening after making his run at the rear from gate 11. It was clearly his best run from five local starts following a downgrade. Sunny Q made inroads late without menacing after making his run two from the rear.
