Horse No 1 MAKE YOU SMILE (K426) B Avdulla For a short distance approaching the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of M M CONCORD.
Horse No 2 SUPER EXPRESS (K245) D B McMonagle Lay in in the Home Straight.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 MASTER OF ALL (H177) M L Yeung Bumped at the start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 OUTGATE (H113) Y L Chung A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 AMAZING PARTNERS (K554) C Y Ho Lay in over the final 200 Metres.
Horse No 6 FLASH CURRENT (J500) A Badel Noted to have lost its left front plate on arrival at the barriers, was replated, examined by the Veterinary Officer and passes suitable to race.
From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 M M CONCORD (L076) C L Chau Made contact with the right side of the starting gate on jumping and became unbalanced.
Lay in in the Home Straight.
Horse No 9 AEROVOLANIC (K400) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 REAL TIME (L042) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with MASTER OF ALL.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 11 PERFECT TEAM (H120) E C W Wong From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 TURIN CHAMPIONS (L024) H Bentley Throughout the early stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid AMAZING PARTNERS.
H Bentley stated that after settling back in the field as expected his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight from that position.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Aerovolanic travelled prominently one off the fence before hitting the lead 150m out and proving too good for back-to-back wins despite a rise in class. He's now a threetime winner from 11 starts and can win again. Super Express found one too smart after leading 350m out following a speed-tracking run outside Master Of All from gate 11. He's returned a bridesmaid from three consecutive runs after a win. Amazing Partners ran on nicely for third after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was an encouraging effort up in grade. Legend Winner ran on steadily on the back of the eventual winner for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. It was a better effort on his past two starts. Flash Current ran on late through the centre for fifth after a patient ride second last from the widest draw. He rarely produces a bad run. Outgate failed to figure after a box-seat run. He does appear from his past couple of starts to be on his mark after a win.
