Recap by phillip woo

Absolute Heart led from gate seven and kept up a strong gallop for a smart debut win. The first starter in Hong Kong by his sire Bivouac did it in a very good time and he looks to have a bright future. Prestige Hall ran on nicely near the inside for second after a rails run from behind midfield. He's run well for seconds in three consecutive starts. Firming favourite Baby Sakura stayed on for third after a one-off trip from midfield following a slow start. It was a good effort carrying top weight following a smart debut win. Top Throne stayed on for fourth following a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was a return to form over his preferred Sha Tin 1,200m. Good Fortune just failed to take fourth after a wide trip with cover from midfield. He looks one to keep in mind shortly in Class Five. Alsonso did not have much left in the tank 100m out after a speed-tracking run from gate nine.
