Race Nine : (534) - SNAPDRAGON HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 MAX QUE (J514) Z Purton Made contact with STORMI on jumping due to both runners shifting ground.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 NOISY BOY (J536) K Teetan Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by FORTUNATE SON which shifted out slightly.
Horse No 3 DO YOUR PART (J444) L Ferraris Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 TOURBILLON PRINCE (H122) J Orman Trainer C W Chang advised that from a wide barrier he had instructed for the horse to be ridden in a conservative manner in the early stages.
Horse No 5 VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079) M Chadwick Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 6 FORTUNATE SON (J446) M F Poon Shifted out slightly at the start and was bumped.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 7 VIOLET STAR (L149) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 9 STORMI (K084) C L Chau Made contact with MAX QUE on jumping due to both runners shifting ground.
Horse No 10 GRATIFIDE (K550) R Kingscote Bumped at the start.
From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 11 WITHALLMYFAITH (K428) M L Yeung M L Yeung could offer no excuse for the horse's failure to finish the race off in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No SAMARKAND (H070) L Hewitson Withdrawn on 17.3.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left hind) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter VIOLET STAR.
Before being allowed to race again, SAMARKAND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Race 10 (524) RED SEA - After travelling a short distance rider Z Purton was obliged to reposition his right foot in his stirrup.

Whip Rule Offences - 15 March 2026 Sha Tin Racemeeting The following jockey was found to be in breach of Rule 100(3)(ii)(a) for using the whip on consecutive occasions:- Race 10 (524) K C Leung (ANODE) - 2 consecutive strides after the 200 Metres - Severe Reprimand Race 11 (525) A Atzeni (FIT FOR BEAUTY) was severely reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion passing the 400 Metres

Win Beauty Viva had a rails run from better than midfield and responded nicely when asked for an effort to overhaul Do Your Part close to home for a first win at his sixth local start. Punted late Do Your Part was just touched off late after leading 200m out following a box-seat run. It was another honest performance at his first start over the Valley 1,650m. Favourite Max Que finished willingly near the outside to make it very close on the wire after a one-off trip from midfield. He's holding his form well with back-to-back placings carrying big weights after a win in January. So You Will stayed on a close fourth after finding a one-off spot with cover sitting fourth from gate nine. He proved a last-start second at his first Valley 1,650m run was not a fluke. Specked late Violet Star ran on nicely for fifth after a rails run from behind midfield. It was a good effort at his first Valley 1,650m run. Stormi was stopping over the final 100m after a speed-tracking run outside Withallmyfaith. He fell a bit short on his return to Class Three after three consecutive wins.
