Turquoise Velocity led near the stands side from gate nine to share the win with We Are Hero for a third win from four starts and both runs in Class Three. He remains one to follow. Specked late We Are Hero jumped out of his skin late to draw level on the wire after travelling midfield in the centre of the track from gate seven. It was a return to form after disappointing in two prior starts following a downgrade. Glowing Praises ran on nicely on the far side to finish a very close third after making his run second last from gate one. It was another solid effort on his return to the course and distance of a debut win from his first two local starts. Fast Responder was motoring late through the centre to finish a close fourth after making his run fourth last from gate five. He rarely produces a bad run over this course and distance.

Horse No 4 WHIZZ KID (E392) H Bowman Passing the 200 Metres WHIZZ KID, which was laying out, was steadied when crowded between TOGETHER WE VALUE and LOOKING BRIGHT (M F Poon) which shifted in and away from TURQUOISE VELOCITY.

M F Poon was advised to exercise more care.

Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to LOOKING BRIGHT.

Horse No 6 TOGETHER WE VALUE (L170) Z Purton Passing the 200 Metres Z Purton dropped his left rein for a number of strides.

Horse No 7 FAST RESPONDER (J295) H Bentley On jumping was bumped by LOOKING BRIGHT which shifted in.

Near the 500 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from TOGETHER WE VALUE.

Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Horse No 8 MUST GO (J133) A Atzeni Shortly after the start was steadied to avoid WE ARE HERO which shifted out.

Near the 150 Metres was checked when disappointed for clear running between GIANT SPIRIT and WE ARE HERO.

Horse No 9 TACTICAL ACE (L249) M Chadwick Jumped only fairly.

Lay in over the final 500 Metres and near the 150 Metres was steadied when it shifted in towards THE UNIQUE STAR.

Over the concluding stages TACTICAL ACE raced tight to the outside of THE UNIQUE STAR and could not be fully ridden out to the finish of the event.
