Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (518) - NGA TSIN WAI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 NYX GLUCK (K438) H Bowman Leaving the 800 Metres was bumped by GET FRIENDLY.
Near the 550 Metres was bumped on a number of occasions by FLYING SNIPER and taken wider.
H Bowman stated that the instructions were to hold a midfield position.
He said when unable to cross GET FRIENDLY in the early stages he was obliged to race wide and after being contacted by FLYING SNIPER near the 550 Metres his mount finished the race off only fairly thereafter.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 PHOENIX LIGHT (G192) D B McMonagle Bumped at the start.
Near the 150 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between ALABAMA SONG and FLYING SNIPER.
As a result PHOENIX LIGHT could not be ridden out for the remainder of the race.
Horse No 3 FLYING SNIPER (L270) Z Purton Jumped only fairly.
Near the 550 Metres made contact with NYX GLUCK on a number of occasions when improving to the outside of ALABAMA SONG.
As a result FLYING SNIPER became unbalanced.
Z Purton stated that his mount, which was having its first race start, raced greenly throughout the event and would derive a benefit from today's race experience.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 HAPPY BRETHREN (L049) C Y Ho C Y Ho reported that from an inside barrier he was asked to hold an on-pace position.
Horse No 5 MR INCREDIBLE (L232) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
After travelling a short distance was steadied when crowded by GET FRIENDLY which was racing tight to the inside of NYX GLUCK.
Near the 1000 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by GET FRIENDLY which shifted in whilst racing keenly.
For some distance near the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between HAPPY BRETHREN and SO MY FOLKS.
Near the 150 Metres SO MY FOLKS shifted out slightly and made contact with MR INCREDIBLE, resulting in MR INCREDIBLE being awkwardly placed close to HAPPY BRETHREN for a short distance.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 TOP MAESTRO (K578) H T Mo Delayed the start when it proved difficult to load.
Before being allowed to race again, TOP MAESTRO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
Shortly after the start was crowded by SO MY FOLKS which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.
Horse No 7 CHATER FLASH (L082) L Ferraris On jumping shifted out and made contact with PHOENIX LIGHT.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 GET FRIENDLY (L069) C L Chau Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
Near the 800 Metres shifted out to avoid FLYING SNIPER when racing keenly.
A short distance later GET FRIENDLY was then eased when crowded between FLYING SNIPER and NYX GLUCK which improved to the outside of GET FRIENDLY.
C L Chau reported that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and as a result did not run on in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 ALABAMA SONG (K480) A Atzeni Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 12 COME FAST FAY FAY (K121) R Kingscote From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After improving to the inside of CHATER FLASH near the 400 Metres lay in and proved difficult to ride for some distance thereafter.

Mr Incredible started slowly and travelled one off behind midfield before quickening nicely near the inside to take control 50m out for a smart debut win. The three-yearold has a bright future. Come Fast Fay Fay made good ground late near the inside for second after making his run at the rear from gate 12. He was returning to Class Four on the top of his game following a win. Happy Brethren succumbed late after leading 150m out following a box-seat run. He was able to build on an encouraging fourth on debut last month. Punted late So My Folks would not go down without a fight after clearing to lead 900m out. He's can break through at any moment on either surface. Chater Flash ran on nicely for fifth after making his run second last from gate 10. He's shown hints of ability in his four starts.
