Team Team Folks travelled fourth last and after straightening three deep, he just out dashed Forerunner to remain perfect in two Valley 1,200m runs from four starts this term. He has the tools to win another in this grade. Forerunner surged late just outside the winner to make it interesting on the wire after making his run one off travelling behind midfield. It was a solid effort. Golden Empire stayed on a close third travelling fifth and one off the fence after pinging the start from gate two. It was a return to form at his eighth start and second following a downgrade. Northern Fire Ball succumbed very late to just miss a placing after leading 1,100m out from gate one. It was another good run carrying 7lb more following a win. Kiama ran on steadily to just get the better of Iconical for fifth without threatening the top four following a rails run from midfield. He's still a work in progress. Iconical was retreating 100m out after a speed-tracking run. Winning Money had an excuse after a prominent run wide without cover from gate 10. Thousand Spirit failed to fire from midfield as the late-fancied favourite.

Race Seven : (512) - BREEZY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

Horse No 1 ALWAYS AHEAD (L055) C L Chau Shortly after the start was badly crowded between WINNING MONEY and FLASH STAR which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider.

Horse No 3 GOLDEN EMPIRE (E490) L Ferraris For a short distance near the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a tight run between ICONICAL and WINNING MONEY.

Horse No 4 PRESTIGE SUPERIOR (K383) H T Mo Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with WINNING MONEY.

PRESTIGE SUPERIOR then raced tight between WINNING MONEY and FORERUNNER which shifted out slightly.

Horse No 5 THOUSAND SPIRIT (K365) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with TEAM TEAM FOLKS.

Near the 900 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid GOLDEN EMPIRE which shifted out slightly.

L Hewitson could offer no explanation for the horse's disappointing performance.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 6 TEAM TEAM FOLKS (K302) C Y Ho Bumped on jumping.

Over the final 100 Metres was bumped on a number of occasions by FORERUNNER which shifted in.

Horse No 7 WINNING MONEY (J116) Z Purton Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start and became unbalanced.

Z Purton stated that after being crowded shortly after the start his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 8 CHEERFUL WONGCHOY (L045) J Orman Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 9 FLASH STAR (K431) R Kingscote Shifted in at the start and made contact with ALWAYS AHEAD.

R Kingscote reported that in this incident his left foot was displaced from his stirrup for a short distance.

Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 10 FORERUNNER (G465) A Badel Approaching the 150 Metres shifted to the inside of NORTHERN FIRE BALL to continue into clear running and as a result made contact with TEAM TEAM FOLKS.

FORERUNNER then raced tight between NORTHERN FIRE BALL and TEAM TEAM FOLKS over the final 100 Metres and made contact with TEAM TEAM FOLKS on a number of occasions.

Horse No 12 ICONICAL (J504) M Chadwick Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the finish when racing tight between NORTHERN FIRE BALL and GOLDEN EMPIRE.
