Racing Incident Report
Race Three : (477) - CITIGOLD PRIVATE CLIENT HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 RYUI KOKOROE (L120) H Bentley H Bentley reported that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight his mount hung in and proved difficult to ride out.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, RYUI KOKOROE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 2 REZEKI (J340) A Atzeni Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 3 GAZELEY (K253) L Hewitson Raced keenly in the early stages and near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being checked to avoid AQUAMAN and as a result lost ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 KINGDOM OF RICHES (K079) M L Yeung Approaching the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of SWAGGER BRO.
M L Yeung advised that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride the horse in a more conservative manner in the early stages.
Horse No 5 TYCOON EXPRESS (K376) C Y Ho From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of MONEY TYCOON.
Horse No 7 MULTISUPERSTAR (L163) Y L Chung Jumped only fairly.
Over the final 400 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running and as a result was not fully tested.
Horse No 8 CIRCUIT FIERY (H475) Z Purton Noted to have blood at the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 MONEY TYCOON (K423) K C Leung Raced keenly in the early stages when positioned outside the lead before giving ground in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of MONEY TYCOON, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, MONEY TYCOON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 13 ONE LOVE (K584) H T Mo Slow to begin.
Horse No 14 THE ALL ROUNDER (K402) M F Poon Jumped only fairly.

Circuit Fiery led from the gates and after straightening nearly two lengths on top, he never looked back for a second win from his past four starts. He's found his groove. Rank outsider The All Rounder stayed on well for second after a box-seat run. It was clearly his best run to date following a gear change. Rezeki stayed on well for third after getting posted three wide chasing the speed from gate eight. He's held his condition to place in back-to-back runs after a win in January. Francis Meynell stayed on a non-threatening fourth after a handy run one off the fence. He does appear from his past two starts to be near a win. Tycoon Express made headway late near the inside to win a blanket finish for fifth after getting badly held up between the 300m and 150m following a patient ride second last from gate 11. It was another good run with a step up to 1,400m.
