Favourite Emblazon had a handy run one off with cover and kept finding after leading 200m out for a fifth win and another that was voided plus a second this term. He has the tools to head higher. Punted late Juneau Pride ran on late near the outside for second after biding his time three from the rear drawn 10. He's a winner in waiting. Firming late in betting Mugen rallied well near the inside to share third. It was his best effort from four starts following a stable change. Gustosisimo also shared third after a box-seat run. It was another honest effort despite a step up to 1,400m. All Out For Six was overhauled late for a placing after straightening nearly four lengths on top dictating the pace from gate 10. He's flashed potential in both local runs. Son Pak Fu ran on without threatening after making his run one from the rear. Old-timer Healthy Happy just held his ground after a one-off trip from midfield.

Racing Incident Report

Race Eleven : (485) - CITI CREDIT CARD HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1400Meters

Horse No 1 HEALTHY HAPPY (D435) E C W Wong Near the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of EMBLAZON to improve and as a result made contact with JUNEAU PRIDE.

A short distance later HEALTHY HAPPY was crowded between JUNEAU PRIDE when EMBLAZON was taken out by GUSTOSISIMO.

In this incident HEALTHY HAPPY again made contact with JUNEAU PRIDE.

Over the concluding stages had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned between GUSTOSISIMO and JUNEAU PRIDE.

Horse No 2 BEAUTY ETERNAL (H008) B Avdulla Shifted in on jumping and was bumped.

B Avdulla stated that the intention was to hold a midfield position.

He said from the outside barrier he was obliged to settle back in the field to ensure he obtained a position with cover closer to the rail.

Horse No 3 NEW FOREST (K094) L Hewitson L Hewitson stated that his mount jumped only fairly and when the pace of the event was run inside of standard time in the early stages he elected to take a position with cover.

He added that the horse failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, is better suited on the All Weather surface.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 6 SON PAK FU (G265) A Badel Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 8 ALL OUT FOR SIX (L193) M Chadwick Noted to have blood at the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

On jumping was crowded between JUNEAU PRIDE and BEAUTY ETERNAL, both of which shifted ground.

M Chadwick stated that the intention was to hold a midfield position.

He said from its wide barrier ALL OUT FOR SIX jumped well and then raced keenly in the early stages.

He said as a result he was obliged to lead on ALL OUT FOR SIX but the horse refused to settle throughout the early and middle stages and as a result ran inside of standard time despite his efforts to set a more sustainable pace.

Horse No 9 EMBLAZON (K122) C L Chau Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 10 JUNEAU PRIDE (J443) A Atzeni On jumping shifted out and became unbalanced when it made contact with ALL OUT FOR SIX.

Near the 400 Metres and again near the 350 Metres was bumped by HEALTHY HAPPY and became unbalanced.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 12 MR ASCENDENCY (G227) M F Poon After travelling a short distance was crowded for room between JUNEAU PRIDE and HEALTHY HAPPY which shifted out slightly.

M F Poon reported that he had concerns with his mount's action during the race.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Before being allowed to race again, MR ASCENDENCY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 11 MID WINTER WIND (K208) M Chadwick Withdrawn on 28.2.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen both front legs).

Adjourned Inquiry - 25 February 2026 Happy Valley Racemeeting - Race 3 (468) The Stewards today concluded an inquiry opened into Jockey E C W Wong's riding of SKY HEART.

Further evidence today was taken from Jockey Wong and Trainer C Fownes.

The Stewards also considered a betting and analytical report provided by the Racing Integrity and Betting Analysis Department.

That report did not identify any integrity concern in relation to the betting on the event.

In addition, the Stewards considered a report from the Department of Veterinary Regulation, Welfare and Biosecurity Policy which confirmed SKY HEART had been found to be lame in the right front leg the day after racing.

To verify the lameness, a Sleip analysis report was provided to the Stewards.

After considering the evidence the Stewards advised Jockey Wong that, in their opinion, he had made two errors of judgement in the early stages.

Firstly, not riding his mount with more intent in the early stages to attempt to cross SOLEIL FIGHTER as he had been instructed to do.

Secondly, when positioned to the outside of SOLEIL FIGHTER in the early stages he elected to restrain his mount to race behind SOLEIL FIGHTER which resulted in SWORD POINT and AWESOME FLUKE being able to cross SKY HEART and SKY HEART then racing further back in the field.

Having found that Jockey Wong had made those errors of judgement, the Stewards did not elect to issue a charge against Jockey Wong under Rule 99 (2) on the basis that they could not be satisfied, having regard to the horse being found to be lame after the race, that his actions had resulted in it not winning or obtaining the best possible place in the field.

However, Jockey Wong was advised that his riding in the early stages lacked the necessary judgement of a jockey riding in this jurisdiction and he would be expected to make a greater effort in similar circumstance to comply with instructions he has been issued.

Whip Rule Offences - 25 February 2026 Happy Valley Racemeeting The following jockey was found to be in breach of Rule 100(3)(ii)(a) for using the whip on consecutive occasions:- Race 3 (468) A Badel (HUGE WAVE) - 3 consecutive strides near the 200 Metres - A fine of $2,000 Race 6 (471) M L Yeung (MATSU VICTOR) was warned for using his whip forward of the saddle in a forehand manner on one occasion near the 200 Metres

Racing Laboratory tests of COME FAST FAY FAY, MAJESTIC DELIGHT, PAPAYA BROSE, PRESTIGE HALL, GLORIOUS SUCCESS, FLYING BOOM, GLORIASTAR, ELITE GOLF, BABY SAKURA, BETTER AND BETTER, CROSSBORDERDUDE, CIRCUIT CHAMPION, STUNNING PEACH, TOP DRAGON, AEROINVINCIBLE, JUST FOLLOW ME, HAPPY INDEX, JUBILANT WINNER, GENTLEMEN LEGACY, LIVEANDLETLIVE, ARMOUR WAR EAGLE, HOT DELIGHT, SUPER EXPRESS and RIDING TOGETHER (19.2.26) proved negative.
