Recap by phillip woo

Drifting out in betting, Gor Gor steadily improved from near the rear to sit midfield on the fence 600m out and just got up through the centre to win a photo finish. He continued the extraordinary training performance of reviving stable transfers by new trainer Brett Crawford. Sensationally backed Incredible Moment rallied strongly near the outside after a wide trip without cover from midfield to make it very close on the wire. He appreciated the return to the track and trip of a second in October. Early favourite Shotgun ran on steadily to finish a neck third after a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was another good run carrying 14lb less following a win in Class Five. Posttime favourite Live Wire was collared in the shadows of the post after assuming the lead from Ruby Sailing 300m out following a pace-prompting run on the fence from gate one. It was a good run with a step up to 1,200m after a third from two 1,000m runs.

Racing Incident Report

Race One : (434) - TVB LOK SIN TONG CHARITY CORNER HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

Horse No 1 MOTOR (K165) K C Leung Bumped on jumping.

Trainer W K Mo confirmed that from a wide barrier the intention was to ride the horse with cover.

Horse No 2 BIGTIME GENERATION (K496) L Ferraris From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

L Ferraris reported that making the Home Turn his mount became slightly awkward in its action which resulted in him looking down.

Horse No 5 VIGOR EYE (L068) B Avdulla In the early stages lay in and away from RUBY SAILING when being ridden forward to cross NOBLE FANS.

B Avdulla stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and was disappointing.

Trainer D A Hayes stated that, in his opinion, the horse was required to work hard in the early stages to cross runners to its inside and as a result was unable to finish the race off.

He added that the horse would be given a short let-up before returning to racing with the intention to ride it in a more conservative manner in the early stages.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 6 WINNING CHAMPION (K429) H Bentley Jumped only fairly and then bumped with SHOTGUN due to both runners shifting ground.

Horse No 8 INCREDIBLE MOMENT (K275) R Kingscote Shifted out at the start and was bumped.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 9 NOBLE FANS (K038) M L Yeung Near the 1000 Metres raced tight to the inside of VIGOR EYE which lay in and away from RUBY SAILING.

M L Yeung could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 10 GOR GOR (K104) K Teetan On jumping was crowded between MOTOR and INCREDIBLE MOMENT which shifted out.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 11 EVERYONE'S GALLOP (K140) Y L Chung From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

After the race was found to have bled from both nostrils and also to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.

Before being allowed to race again, EVERYONE'S GALLOP will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 12 SHOTGUN (K111) A Atzeni Bumped on jumping.
