Race Seven : (431) - SHEUNG HEI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 MEOWTH (J487) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 FLYING WROTE (J290) C L Chau Bumped at the start by REGROWTH WINNER.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 TOP THRONE (K116) L Ferraris Shifted out abruptly after the start.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and consequently did not run on in the Home Straight.
Horse No 5 REGROWTH WINNER (L140) Y L Chung Jumped only fairly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of FLYING WROTE.
Horse No 7 THE HEIR (H459) J Orman When laying in over the final 200 Metres shifted in near the 150 Metres and bumped DIRIYA.
Horse No 8 ZETA HEDGE (K295) L Hewitson A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 JUBILATION FOR ALL (K505) H T Mo H T Mo reported that his mount raced quite greenly throughout the event.
Horse No 10 KING GLORIOSO (J247) B Avdulla Passing the 200 Metres, when making ground, was steadied when tightened for room momentarily by GIANT LEAP which shifted in before being corrected by its rider.
Horse No 11 BLAZING BEAM (K103) R Kingscote R Kingscote reported that his instructions were to take up a midfield position, however, despite riding his mount along in the early stages it did not show the necessary early speed to be able to do so.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 DIRIYA (K282) M Guyon Near the 150 Metres got unbalanced after being bumped by THE HEIR which shifted in whilst laying in.
Horse No 6 SOO KOO (L008) K C Leung Withdrawn prior to the race by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice after it was found to be displaying an irregular heart rhythm.
Before being allowed to race again, SOO KOO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Flying Wrote settled prominently and one off the fence from gate three before hitting the front 180m out and just holding off Meowth for a second win to go with two seconds from six starts this term. Meowth rallied late through the centre to just miss after a wide trip with cover travelling midfield. He continues to hold his form well with seconds in three of four starts following a win. The Heir was eating up the ground late with one wider out to finish a close third. He was able to build on an earlier sixth from an outside gate over this track and trip. King Glorious stayed on for fourth without threatening the first three after a prominent run. He's only gone OK in his past three starts following a win. Jubilation For All was doing his best work late to just snatch fifth after a rails run from behind midfield. It was an improved effort following a switch to the Valley. Diriya ran on without threatening after a one-off trip from midfield. It was an OK effort after his first Valley 1,200m start. Giant Leap just plodded over the last 150m after leading 250m out following a speed-tracking run outside Zeta Hedge from gate 11.
