Horse No 1 BEAUTY THUNDER (J299) Z Purton Approaching the winning post was bumped by BUNTA BABY which shifted in.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 BUNTA BABY (J465) C L Chau Shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages and approaching the winning post bumped BEAUTY THUNDER.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 JACKSON HABIT (L036) H Bowman Jumped only fairly.
Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 5 SOARING STEED (L070) J Orman Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by HAPPY UNITED which also jumped awkwardly and shifted in.
Horse No 7 HAPPY UNITED (H208) M Guyon Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and bumped SOARING STEED.
Over-raced in the middle stages and got its head up near the 600 Metres when being restrained off the heels of STAR PERFORMER.
Horse No 9 ZOUPER FELLOW (K284) K Teetan Hung out rounding the Home Turn.
Horse No 10 LEAN MASTER (H134) H Bentley H Bentley reported that his mount did not appreciate racing tight amongst other horses and failed to respond to his riding over the concluding stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 SAVVY TWINKLE (K067) M F Poon Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Favourite Bunta Baby travelled midfield on the rail before coming off heels for a clear run 150m out and getting up late to defeat Beauty Thunder for a second track and trip success to go with three placings from six starts this term. He's in a rich vein of form and can win again. Punted late Beauty Thunder couldn't fend off the winner after moving to the lead 200m out following a speed-tracking run from gate 11. It was another solid effort over the Valley 1,000m this term. Harmony Fire stayed on nicely for third after a wide trip with cover travelling midfield from gate 12. He rarely produces a bad run over the Valley 1,000m. Savvy Twinkle just held onto fourth after sitting third and wide without cover from gate nine. It was a good effort following a last-start win in Class Five. Happy United just failed through the centre to take fourth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's shown natural progress from one run to the next following a nosebleed in October. Star Performer came up one paced after a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was a typical performance.
