Recap by phillip woo

Aurora Patch travelled prominently one off the fence before taking control 50m out and surging home for a third win and three seconds from seven starts this term. He'll remain in the grade and can win another. Armour War Eagle rushed home nicely for second after a one-off trip from midfield. It was another honest performance. Magnifique found a couple too good in the dying stages after rushing to the lead 200m out following a wide trip without cover sitting third in the run from gate 12. It was another good run. Gummy Gummy stuck on for fourth after getting headed for the lead 600m out following a oneoff trip in front from gate two. Victory Sky was doing his best work late for fifth after biding his time second last and three wide from gate eight. He couldn't cope carrying 8lb more following a second straight win last month on this surface.
