Recap by phillip woo

Galactic Voyage settled one off behind midfield before dashing to the front 150m out and drawing clear for a maiden win at his third local start. Pakistan Legacy kept on well for second settling in the box seat after pinging the start. It was a return to form following a gear change. Lifeline Express ran on nicely for third after biding his time at the rear from gate 12. He can bob up at any moment after filling the frame in three consecutive starts. Celestial Hero ran on steadily for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. It was another honest effort carrying top weight. Matzden stayed on well for fifth after a rails run from midfield. He's run with merit in both local starts. Chill Buddy was on his tippy toes 100m out after clearing to lead 1,000m out from gate 10. Pegas just plodded after a prominent run one off the fence. He couldn't build on a win last start carrying 4lb more.
