Racing Incident Report
Race Three : (416) - ON TING HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 TOP TIME (K006) D B McMonagle From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
D B McMonagle reported that his mount never travelled at any stage throughout the event and did not feel comfortable on today's track surface.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of TOP TIME was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.
Before being allowed to race again, TOP TIME will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 3 AEROVOLANIC (K400) Z Purton Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 DAILY TROPHY (H283) D Probert Near the 700 Metres got its head up when being corrected to avoid causing interference to FLYING AMANI.
Horse No 5 LUCKY RANGER (L071) L Ferraris Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 MEGA MASTERMIND (L044) B Avdulla B Avdulla reported that the pre-race plans were to have his mount in the first fourth or fifth positions, however, being up in trip today, he was able to take up a more forward position, similar to its recent barrier trial.
Horse No 9 YOUNG LEGACY (K465) J Orman Jumped awkwardly and shifted out before being shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 10 ABSOLUTE HONOUR (K260) A Atzeni From the 400 Metres was held up for clear running until near the 300 Metres.
A Atzeni reported that after his mount being held up in the early part of the Home Straight, in his opinion, is a horse that requires time to build momentum and was unable to respond to his riding in a short period of time once clear.

Horse No 11 AQUAMAN (K523) R Kingscote A short distance after the start was inconvenienced when KING PROFIT shifted out.
Horse No 13 FLYING AMANI (K152) M Guyon From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A short distance after the start was inconvenienced when having to be steadied to avoid the heels of LUCKY RANGER after being taken out by AQUAMAN which was also taken out by KING PROFIT.
Horse No 14 GOLDEN FORTUNE (K500) K Teetan K Teetan reported that his mount shifted out abruptly when negotiating the turn near the 900 Metres.
Again near the 700 Metres shifted away from the running rail abruptly.
Horse No CIRCUIT CENTURY (K308) K Teetan CIRCUIT CENTURY, Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 5.2.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right hind).
Before being allowed to race again, CIRCUIT CENTURY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Before being allowed to race again, EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Firming favourite Lucky Ranger settled one off in midfield from gate 14 before shooting to the lead 200m and proving too good for a maiden win at his second start. Aerovolanic fought on nicely for second after facing the breeze three wide sitting third from gate nine. It was a good performance chasing a genuine pace. Aquaman ran on nicely through the centre for third after a wide trip with cover travelling behind midfield from gate 12. It was a vastly-improved effort at his fifth start. Lucky Year ran on nicely near the outside for fourth after making his run third last from gate one. It was a good run on his season debut. King Profit kept on well after clearing to lead 1,050m out from gate 11. It was an encouraging effort following knee surgery. Mega Mastermind gradually faded after a speed-tracking run from gate five. It wasn't a bad effort following a change in tactics.
