Race Ten : (423) - YAN TIN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 JUNEAU PRIDE (J443) B Avdulla Passing the 300 Metres got unbalanced when being bumped by EMBLAZON which shifted out to obtain clear running.
Horse No 2 KA YING ATTACK (J391) M F Poon Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 DREAMING TOGETHER (L215) K Teetan Approaching the 100 Metres was hampered by THE ABSOLUTE which shifted out abruptly.
Horse No 4 EMBLAZON (K122) C L Chau Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 HEAVING (K576) L Ferraris From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
From the 500 Metres was unable to improve its position when held up behind SUPERB KID before shifting out to gain clear running near the 300 Metres.
Horse No 6 SUPERB KID (H298) D B McMonagle Slowly away.
Horse No 8 LUCKY TWIN STARS (K126) A Atzeni Approaching the 100 Metres was inconvenienced by DREAMING TOGETHER which was taken out by THE ABSOLUTE.
A Atzeni reported that his instructions were to ride his mount back from today's draw and bearing in mind LUCKY TWIN STARS was up in class today his mount found it more difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight in a stronger class race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 13 REAL GENTLEMAN (K534) Y L Chung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 14 THE ABSOLUTE (H438) M L Yeung Slowly away.
After the 400 Metres was held up for clear running until approaching the 200 Metres.
Approaching the 100 Metres shifted out abruptly when struck with the whip, hampering DREAMING TOGETHER which in turn inconvenienced LUCKY TWIN STARS.
In assessing the incident the Stewards were satisfied that M L Yeung had made sufficient effort to straighten his mount at the first opportunity and therefore no further action was taken.

Early favourite Emblazon settled handy before pushing into the open 300m out and wearing down late-fancied favourite Ka Ying Attack 60m out for a fourth win, and another one that was nullified in a voided race, and second this term. Ka Ying Attack wouldn't go down without a fight after moving to the lead 300m out following a speed-tracking run. He's a winner waiting to happen. Juneau Pride just held onto third after a one-out, one-back run. He can break through at any moment. Punted late Heaving ran on nicely to just miss a placing after getting held up between the 400m and 250m settling fourth last on the fence from gate 14. He was able to back up a third last start over 1,200m despite a rise in trip. Shamus Storm stayed on for fifth after a wide trip with cover from midfield. It was a positive showing at his first run back from injury.
