Horse No 1 KEEFY (G306) M F Poon Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 2 MR ASCENDENCY (G227) R Kingscote Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 4 SUPER UNICORN (H481) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 5 CORLEONE (J426) E C W Wong Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 FORTUNATE SON (J446) M Guyon Jumped only fairly.
Raced keenly in the early stages.
Horse No 8 VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 WIN BEAUTY VIVA (K368) K Teetan Approaching the 250 Metres was bumped on a number of occasions by ALLCASH.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 LO PAN SPIRIT (J233) K C Leung Raced keenly in the early stages.
Near the 1500 Metres was steadied to avoid VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (A Badel) which shifted in whilst being corrected by its rider.
A Badel was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 ALLCASH (K190) Y L Chung Approaching the 250 Metres made contact with WIN BEAUTY VIVA when endeavouring to obtain clear running to the outside of KEEFY.
When preventing from shifting out ALLCASH then had difficulty obtaining clear running for a short distance thereafter.
Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up between SAMARKAND and KEEFY.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the running of Race 1, the track classification was officially changed from "Good" to "Good to Firm" This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.
As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 1 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm"

1 February 2026 Sha Tin Racemeeting Race 4 (397) C L Chau (CHILL PARTNERS) was severely reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on three occasions in the Home Straight Race 6 (399) C Y Ho (ALPHA STRIKE) was warned in relation to using his whip forward of the saddle in a forehand manner on two occasions before the 100 Metres Race 8 (401) A Badel (INFINITE RESOLVE) was fined the sum of $10,000 for using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on four occasions inside the 100 Metres

Firming favourite Corleone had a dream run in the box seat before shooting to the lead 200m out and keeping on for a third win and second from four Valley 1,650m runs this term. He has the tools to head higher. Viva Graciousness ran on nicely with two wider out to finish a close second after a prominent run one off the fence. He was able to build on a pleasing fourth last start. Uranus Star grudgingly gave way after leading from gate 10. He appreciated a return to the track and trip of a win in November. Fortunate Son made a steady bid near the inside for fourth after a rails run from midfield. It was an OK effort up in class following a win. Keefy made headway late with one wider out for fifth after getting posted three wide without cover travelling behind midfield from a tricky gate. It was an encouraging run carrying top weight. Win Beauty Viva made ground late down the outside to finish next best after making his run three wide travelling third last from the widest draw. He's given a decent sight once across each track from outside draws this term. Samarkand weakened over the final 150m after chasing the speed.
