Race Seven : (411) - SING WOO HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 ROMANTIC SON (J537) H Bentley Bumped on jumping.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 KING MILES (J158) C Y Ho Jumped awkwardly.
Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 3 WONDER KIT (G455) L Hewitson Shortly after the start was crowded by KEEN MOLLY which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.
Made contact with IGOR STRAVINSKY near the 300 Metres when held up behind POWER KOEPP.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 PERFECTDAY (K238) Z Purton Shifted out on jumping and bumped ROMANTIC SON.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Bumped near the 100 Metres.
Horse No 6 KEEN MOLLY (K386) K Teetan K Teetan reported that his mount finished the race off in a one-paced manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 CHARMING BABE (J513) E C W Wong Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between FRIENDS OF SHAJING and WONDER KIT which was taken out by KEEN MOLLY.
Near the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when it lay in whilst being shifted to the outside of IGOR STRAVINSKY.
Over the concluding stages was steadied to avoid ROMANTIC SON (H Bentley) which shifted in.
H Bentley was reprimanded.
Horse No 8 FRIENDS OF SHAJING (K202) C L Chau Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
Horse No 9 CALIFORNIA BLITZ (J370) M Chadwick Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 IGOR STRAVINSKY (K086) Y L Chung Bumped near the 300 Metres.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 11 CAPTAIN LINK (K515) A Badel Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 12 ENDEARED (H161) A Atzeni Near the 100 Metres bumped with PERFECTDAY when improving into a narrow run inside PERFECTDAY.
Horse No WITH A SMILE (K136) A Atzeni WITH A SMILE, Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 3.2.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice after it was found to have a heart condition during the pre-race examination which requires further assessment.
Before being allowed to race again, WITH A SMILE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Following further assessment of the heart condition, the Stewards will consider if any further action is taken against the horse.

Specked late Romantic Son travelled wide behind midfield from gate 12 and zipped home late down the outside to overhaul California Blitz for back-to-back wins off a seven-day break. California Blitz kept on gamely for second after getting challenged from both sides upon straightening following a front-running effort from gate seven. He continues to hold his form well in this grade after back-to-back wins in Class Four. Power Koepp just failed to grab second after a speed-tracking run from gate nine. It was the eight-year-old's best effort from seven starts this term. Friends Of Shajing just missed out on a placing after getting all favours in the box seat. He keeps promising without delivering on a win line. Charming Babe ran on steadily through the centre for fifth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. Endeared ran on without threatening after making his run two from the rear. He wasn't good enough on his return to Class Three after a near win last start over 1,400m. Keen Molly only plodded from midfield as the post-time favourite. Early favourite Perfectday only beat a few from near the rear.
