Recap by phillip woo

Awesome Fluke tracked leader New Forest on the rail before claiming the lead 200m and keeping on strongly for a second Valley win from six starts this term. He was able to do it in a track record time at his first time of asking over the Valley 1,650m. Soleil Fighter stayed on nicely for second after a prominent run one off the fence. He doesn't know how to produce a bad run over this course. Huge Wave ran on nicely with one wider out for third without threatening the top two after biding his time second last in the eight-horse field. He continues to add to his fine campaign. Firming favourite Silvery Breeze came from last and widest out for fourth. He couldn't quicken as expected on the back of a very strong tempo. Helene Feeling just plodded after making his run fourth along the inside. Moments Of Time came up one paced when asked for more after a one-off trip from midfield. Kaholo Angel never menaced after making his run two from the rear. New Forest faded tamely after setting swift fractions from gate five.
