Horse No 1 KA YING RISING (J062) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 HELIOS EXPRESS (H302) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 FAST NETWORK (J358) J McDonald When questioned J McDonald stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position but his mount jumped only fairly and despite his efforts did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to hold a more forward position.
Horse No 4 RAGING BLIZZARD (H368) B Avdulla Jumped only fairly.
Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres.
Approaching the 200 Metres made contact with TOMODACHI KOKOROE when being shifted to the outside of FAST NETWORK.
Horse No 5 TOMODACHI KOKOROE (H303) H Bentley Raced keenly throughout the middle stages.
Leaving the 700 Metres was steadied when crowded between HELIOS EXPRESS and LUCKY WITH YOU (L Ferraris) which shifted in.
L Ferraris was advised to exercise more care.
Approaching the 200 Metres was bumped and taken wider.

World's best sprinter Ka Ying Rising reclaimed the lead from Beauty Waves 400m out and was geared down for a record equalling 17th straight win. He's a class above the rest. Helios Express ran on well along the inside for second after a rails run from midfield. It was his best effort from four starts this term. Fast Network ran on steadily for third after making his run second last in the seven-runner field. It was another honest performance. Raging Blizzard came from last to just miss a placing. He rarely produces a bad run. Tomodachi Kokoroe just held his ground after a prominent run. He's on his mark. Lucky With You weakened after sitting wide and without cover travelling third from the widest draw. Beauty Waves tamely faded in the run to the wire after clearing to lead Ka Ying Rising for the lead near the 800m. He's not racing well.
