Horse No 1 PERFECT TEAM (H120) A Badel Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 2 WONDERSTAR (J531) M Guyon M Guyon and Trainer Y S Tsui stated that, in their opinion, WONDERSTAR did not appreciate racing on the All Weather surface.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 LEAPING STAR (L189) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 GUMMY GUMMY (H089) R Kingscote Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 ANOTHER ZONDA (K176) L Hewitson Bumped heavily shortly after the start and became unbalanced.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 8 CHARMING BABE (J513) D B McMonagle Shortly after the start shifted out and made heavy contact with ANOTHER ZONDA.

Horse No 10 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) M Chadwick Jumped awkwardly.
M Chadwick reported that his mount set a strong pace in the lead before giving ground in the Home Straight and did not run out the race distance of 1200 Metres.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 ARMOUR WAR EAGLE (J039) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly.

Favourite Blazing Wind travelled prominently one off the fence before drawing level for the lead near the 100m and just getting the better of a gutsy Gummy Gummy for a third win from 21 starts. He deserved that after filling the frame in his past three start. Gummy Gummy wouldn't go down without a fight after surging to the lead 250m out sitting third in the run. It was a season-best effort on his return to his preferred dirt surface. Armour War Eagle ran on steadily for third without threatening the top two following a rails run from midfield. He will be hard to beat shortly in Class Four after finishing in the mix in five of seven starts this term. Must Go ran on well for fourth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's close to a rating bottom. Thunder Blaze made good ground late near the inside for fifth after biding his time three from the rear. It was an encouraging first effort in Hong Kong. Another Zonda just held his ground after facing the breeze three wide early on from gate 12 travelling midfield. Well backed Parents' Live stopped quickly after rushing to the lead from gate seven following a sluggish start. He does not get 1,200m.
