Racing Incident Report
Race Eleven : (313) - CHA KWO LING HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM (K201) Z Purton Near the 400 Metres and again passing the 350 Metres made contact with WOLF COMING when attempting to shift to the outside of INFINITE RESOLVE to obtain clear running.
As a result CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 INFINITE RESOLVE (K369) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 CANDLELIGHT DINNER (J468) M Guyon Bumped on the hindquarters on jumping.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 HEAVING (K576) L Ferraris Shortly after the start raced tight between YOUNG ARROW and PI LEGEND.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Shifted in near the 200 Metres and was bumped.
Horse No 5 MIGHTY MASTS (L153) A Atzeni Between the 400 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running.
When being shifted to the inside of TOURBILLON GOLFER approaching the 150 Metres made contact with ROMANTIC SON.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 ROMANTIC SON (J537) H Bentley Bumped near the 150 Metres.
Horse No 7 YOUNG ARROW (J401) K Teetan Bumped shortly after the start.
Near the 200 Metres was bumped by HEAVING which shifted in.
K Teetan reported that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and approaching the 600 Metres shifted out when being steadied to avoid M M CONCORD.
Horse No 8 M M CONCORD (L076) M Chadwick On jumping became unbalanced when it made contact with CANDLELIGHT DINNER.
Near the 150 Metres was eased when crowded between YOUNG ARROW and QUARTZ LEGEND which shifted out.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 10 QUARTZ LEGEND (K548) C Y Ho Bumped on jumping.
Between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running.
Horse No 11 FLASH CURRENT (J500) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly.
From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 100 Metres improved into a narrow run between CANDLELIGHT DINNER and CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM and as a result made contact with CANDLELIGHT DINNER near the 50 Metres.
Horse No 12 TOURBILLON GOLFER (K320) M F Poon M F Poon stated that after holding a position outside the lead his mount gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight but he could offer no excuse for its disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
Horse No 13 NEVER PETER OUT (J200) H T Mo Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
Horse No 14 WOLF COMING (K353) Y L Chung Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Near the 400 Metres and again after the 350 Metres was bumped by CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM.

Trainer P C Ng was fined the sum of $2,000 for presenting LUCKY DOCTOR (L225) with a set of incorrect racing colours at the Sha Tin barrier trials on Monday, 29 December 2025 in breach of Trainers' Handbook Instruction 40.

27 December 2025 Sha Tin Racemeeting Race 9 (301) H Bentley (YOUNG ACHIEVER) was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height near the 250 Metres Race 10 (302) H Bentley (STORMY GROVE) was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height near the 300 Metres HOLMES A COURT - At the time of declaration, C Y Ho notified probable overweight of 2 lbs in respect of HOLMES A COURT'S allocated weight of 119 lbs.
C Y Ho then weighed in an additional 1 lb overweight, resulting in Jockey Ho weighing in 3 lbs over the horse's allocated weight.
Jockey Ho was fined the sum of $7,500.

Infinite Resolve had a one-off trip in midfield and after hitting the front 100m out, he was too good for a first win at his seventh local start. Well backed Mighty Masts ran on nicely after switching inside off heels for a clear run 150m out travelling midfield following a sluggish start. It was an eye-catching run on his local debut. Wolf Coming finished well for third after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was an improved effort at his first local start. Flash Current ran on late to spice up the Quartet after making his run at the rear from gate 14. It was a return to form at his third start this term. Pi Legend gradually faded after dictating the pace from gate 13. It wasn't a bad effort on his local debut. Favourite Circuit Grand Slam stayed on a non-threatening sixth after getting held up early in the straight following a patient ride four from the rear.
