Horse No 1 HAILTOTHEVICTORS (J508) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 2 SOARING BRONCO (J162) J Orman Trainer P C Ng confirmed that the instructions were to settle in a midfield position.
Horse No 3 ALL ARE MINE (H293) Z Purton Z Purton stated that after settling towards the back of the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight due to the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 6 FAMILY FORTUNE (H447) H Bowman H Bowman could offer no explanation for his mount failing to run on in the Home Straight.

Horse No 13 BINGO BABE (K115) H T Mo From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
The performance of BINGO BABE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, BINGO BABE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Shortly after the start was momentarily crowded by PHANTOM CYCLONE.
Near the 1500 Metres commenced to race keenly when being steadied to allow SOARING BRONCO to cross.

Foremost Teddy led as expected from gate three and was too smart for back-to-back wins despite a step up to 1,800m. He has really found his mojo on the all-weather track this season. Super Hong Kong ran on nicely for second after a rails run from better than midfield. He did win well two runs ago over 2,200m and was a placegetter in only previous effort on dirt. Atomic Beauty plugged on well for third after a speedtracking run. He was able to build on a pleasing fifth last start over the dirt 1,650m. Go Go Go plugged on a one-paced fifth after a box-seat run. It was another honest effort. Phantom Cyclone ran on well for fifth after a wide trip without cover travelling behind midfield from gate 12. It was a good run. Meep Meep just held his ground after a rails run from midfield. It was his best effort from three consecutive runs down in Class Five. Hailtothevictors came up one paced after a one-off trip from better than midfield.
