Recap by phillip woo

Invincible Ibis enjoyed a rails run from behind midfield and when the gaps appeared near the inside, he quickened to take control 150m out for a third straight win and three placings from six starts. Lovero ran on nicely for second after a rails run from midfield. It was a solid effort at his initial 1,600m run following a stable change. Fortune Boy rushed home late to just miss second after a patient ride three from the rear. It was another honest performance. Brilliant Express just held his ground for fourth after a handy run on the fence. It was a season best effort with a step up to 1,600m. Dazzling Fit was short of room in the concluding stages after making his run five back and three wide coming to the final bend. He was carrying 7lb more following a win. Gracious Express gradually faded after sitting one-off in third from gate 10. It was an okay effort carrying top weight. Tin Fook ran on without threatening after a wide trip travelling two from the rear.

Horse No 2 BRILLIANT EXPRESS (J321) H Bowman Jumped only fairly.

Near the 200 Metres the whip of H Bowman was knocked from his grasp by the whip of J Orman, rider of ANODE.

Horse No 3 TOURBILLON PRINCE (H122) R Kingscote R Kingscote stated that his instructions were to lead but his mount did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to do so and as a consequence settled further back than intended.

Horse No 4 DAZZLING FIT (K298) J McDonald Raced keenly in the early stages.

Leaving the 1400 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by REAL GENTLEMAN which shifted in and away from HERBAL STAR after being taken in slightly by that runner.

Sent for sampling post-race.
