Race Nine : (262) - OUIJA BOARD HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters
Horse No 2 EVERYONE'S STAR (K172) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 STAR RISE (K516) J McDonald Jumped only fairly.
Near the 400 Metres was steadied and shifted to the inside of EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS to obtain clear running.
J McDonald reported that his mount initially responded to his riding in the early stages of the Home Straight but failed to run on over the final 200 Metres.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 CHARMING LEGEND (K127) U Rispoli U Rispoli stated that the intention was to find a midfield position with cover.
He said CHARMING LEGEND was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence could not finish the race off in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 URANUS STAR (K511) M Guyon Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
M Guyon stated that, in his opinion, the horse may not have backed up from its last start on 30 November 2025.

Over the concluding stages was steadied and shifted to the outside of DRAGON JOY to continue into clear running.
Horse No 7 DRAGON JOY (J278) H Doyle Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped.
Horse No 8 STANLEY EXPRESS (K476) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly.

Horse No PRAY FOR JUSTICE (K473) A Atzeni Withdrawn on 13.12.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left hind) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter SIX PACK.
Before being allowed to race again, PRAY FOR JUSTICE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Smart Avenue was ridden patiently third last and timed things perfectly with a move down the outside to just nose out favourite Everyone's Star for a first win at his fourth local start. He was able to build on a hard-charging fourth last start. Everyone's Star was touched off late after rushing to the lead close to home following a wide trip with cover travelling better than midfield from gate seven. He's itching for a return to the winner's circle. One More wouldn't go down without a fight after leading from gate five. His previous best run was fifth at his initial start over 1,400m in June. Six Pack ran on well for fourth after a wide trip with cover from behind midfield. It was another honest performance without placing yet again. Juneau Pride found a few too good after tracking the speed from gate 13. He rarely produces a bad run over 1,400m. Dragon Joy ran on steadily to pick up a minor cheque after a one-off trip from midfield.
