Racing Incident Report
Race Eight : (252) - LONGINES INTERNATIONAL JOCKEYS' CHAMPIONSHIP (HANDICAP)- 4TH LEG - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 KYRUS DRAGON (H396) Z Purton From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Between the 150 Metres and the 50 Metres was held up behind WONDERSTAR.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 POWER KOEPP (E301) H Bowman Over the final 50 Metres could not be fully ridden out when placed in restricted room between TRIUMPHANT MORE and TOURBILLON GOLFER, both of which shifted ground.
(see General) Horse No 3 PAKISTAN LEGACY (J363) M Barzalona Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
M Barzalona stated that in the early stages his mount raced keenly and making the first turn got its head up and ran wide.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 WONDERSTAR (J531) C Y Ho Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 5 AKASHVANI (K234) J McDonald Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Over the final 100 Metres was held up for clear running behind MR DESIRA and could not be ridden out to the finish.
Horse No 6 ROMANTIC SON (J537) R King Crowded shortly after the start.
Approaching the 1000 Metres was eased when being crossed by TOURBILLON GOLFER which shifted in.
In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 800 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from AKASHVANI.
(see General) Horse No 7 TRIUMPHANT MORE (J489) R Moore Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between WONDERSTAR and MIGHTY COMMANDER, both of which shifted ground.

Horse No 8 BUNDLE OF CHARM (G213) W Buick Bumped at the start.
W Buick stated that, in his opinion, the horse would be better suited by being ridden in a more conservative manner, particularly with the middle stages of the event being run inside of standard time.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
(see General) Horse No 9 MR DESIRA (K411) H Doyle Bumped at the start.
In the Home Straight lay in and near the 150 Metres H Doyle was obliged to stop riding and straighten her mount when it shifted in.
Sent for sampling post-race.
(see General) Horse No 10 NEVER TOO SOON (E434) J Moreira After travelling a short distance was steadied to avoid PAKISTAN LEGACY which shifted out.
Near the 350 Metres was steadied when racing in restricted room between ROMANTIC SON and TRIUMPHANT MORE.
Horse No 11 MIGHTY COMMANDER (J360) C Lemaire Bumped shortly after the start.
Held up making the Home Turn.
Horse No 12 TOURBILLON GOLFER (K320) U Rispoli On jumping was crowded by AKASHVANI which shifted in.

Triumphant More was last 800m out but got the gaps when required to mow down Tourbillon Golfer 30m out for a fourth win from 12 starts. Tourbillon Golfer found one too good after sitting one off travelling third from gate five. It was a solid effort up in grade carrying 11lb less following a win. Mighty Commander made good ground late for third after biding his time wide towards the rear from gate 11. It was another honest performance in the grade. Favourite Mr Desira had to settle for fourth after leading 150m out tracking the leader Wonderstar on the fence from gate one. He was up in class after a second win from his past three starts. Punted late Romantic Son made good ground late for fifth after making his run five back and one off the fence. The rise in weight took its toll following a win. Never Too Soon got going late to finish next best after making his run three from the rear. Power Koepp wasn't good enough after looming at least a place chance 100m out following a one-off trip from midfield. Akashvani was held up for a run over the final 150m following a rails run from behind midfield.
