Recap by phillip woo

After hitting the lead 200m out following a wide trip without cover from gate 10, Day Day Victory won comfortably for back-to-back victories following a Valley 1,200m success. Glaciated ran on nicely for second after a one-off trip from better than midfield. He's building towards a win. Early favourite Thunder Prince stayed on well for third after a prominent run on the fence. It was another honest effort at his first start on the surface. Hammered late in betting, Winning Machine whacked on for fourth after a wide trip without cover travelling midfield from gate 12. It was another encouraging run on the surface. King Dance made noticeable ground late down the outside to nearly take fourth after making his run one from the rear. It was a much-improved effort. Rezeki stayed on next best after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's better over 1,200m on turf.
