Race Seven : (204) - THE BOCHK PRIVATE WEALTH JOCKEY CLUB MILE - Class G2 - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 RED LION (H115) H Bowman A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 GALAXY PATCH (H399) J McDonald Jumped awkwardly.
J McDonald reported that near the 750 Metres his mount became unbalanced and lost ground when reluctant to hold its position when racing tight to the inside of HAPPY TOGETHER.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 BEAUTY ETERNAL (H008) B Avdulla B Avdulla stated that as the horse has a tendency to race keenly in its races he did not push it along to avoid it over-racing.
He said as a result BEAUTY ETERNAL settled back in the field where it travelled comfortably.
Horse No 4 CHANCHENG GLORY (H212) C L Chau Despite being ridden along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.
Near the 750 Metres was bumped on its hindquarters and became unbalanced.
Horse No 5 HAPPY TOGETHER (G446) A Badel Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of LIGHT YEARS CHARM.
When being shifted out HAPPY TOGETHER made contact with SUNLIGHT POWER.
Near the 50 Metres shifted out and made contact with SUNLIGHT POWER.
Horse No 7 MY WISH (J256) L Ferraris Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 SUNLIGHT POWER (H244) H Doyle Near the 750 Metres was checked to avoid GALAXY PATCH when that runner lost ground at that stage.
As a result SUNLIGHT POWER shifted out and made contact with CHANCHENG GLORY.
Approaching the 300 Metres was bumped when taken wider by HAPPY TOGETHER.
Near the 50 Metres SUNLIGHT POWER and HAPPY TOGETHER bumped due to HAPPY TOGETHER shifting out.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 PATCH OF THETA (H485) K C Leung Jumped only fairly.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 11 ENCOUNTERED (G236) K Teetan A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Punted late, Galaxy Patch travelled fourth last following a tardy start, copped a check 800m out and ran on strongly along the inside to get up 80m out for an eighth win from 21 starts. Sunlight Power worked home nicely near the outside to just get the head down for second following a patient ride second last from gate 13. He was able to build on an unlucky fourth last start. Happy Together just lost a battle for second after making his run five back and one off the fence. He's as honest as the day is long. Raging favourite My Wish found a few too good after moving to the lead 200m out following a one-out, one-back run. He was carrying 8lb more following a last-start win. Patch Of Theta stayed on fifth best without threatening the top four after a wide trip without cover travelling better than midfield from gate 12. He rarely produces a bad run. Copartner Prance was next best after sharing the lead for the most part sitting outside Pray For Mir.
