Riding Together led and held on by a nose after straightening a length on top for a second win from 12 starts. Master Of All made it a thriller on the wire after a box-seat run. He's honest as the day is long. Favourite Everyone's Star ran on nicely to miss second by a pimple after a one-off trip travelling behind midfield from gate 13. He's ready to return to the winners' circle after placings in both starts this term. Mr Bolt failed to fill a placing by a bob of the heads after peeling off the fence from better than midfield rounding the final bend. It was a much-improved effort for his new trainer after bleeding on his local debut in June. Tin Fook ran on nicely through the centre to finish a close fifth after a patient ride five back and one off the fence. It was another honest performance. Blazing Wukong made good ground late with one wider out to finish in the thick of things after making his run near the rear from gate 11.

Horse No 1 BRILLIANT EXPRESS (J321) H Bowman Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the finish when held up between MR BOLT and EVERYONE'S STAR.

Horse No 2 ANODE (K367) J McDonald J McDonald stated that his mount gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight and he was of the opinion that there may have been something amiss with it.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 3 EVERYONE'S STAR (K172) Z Purton Near the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid VECU.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 4 MASTER OF ALL (H177) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 5 LUCKY MY WAY (K146) K C Leung Jumped awkwardly.

Horse No 6 FLASH CURRENT (J500) H Bentley From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 7 MR BOLT (K472) R Kingscote Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race.

As this was the second occasion that MR BOLT had bled, the horse is permanently barred from any further racing.

Horse No 9 FORZA TORO (K355) E C W Wong Raced keenly in the early stages.

Approaching the 100 Metres was steadied and shifted to the inside of ANODE to continue into clear running.

Apprentice E C W Wong reported that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages.

Horse No 10 RIDING TOGETHER (K081) L Hewitson Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 13 THE AUSPICIOUS (K004) K Teetan Approaching the 400 Metres was held up behind LUCKY MY WAY when endeavouring to obtain clear running to that horse's outside.

Horse No 12 STELLAR SWIFT (J139) H Doyle Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (fever).

Before being allowed to race again, STELLAR SWIFT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
