Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Mr Desira was much too good after leading from gate seven for a second win and first over the Valley 1,000m from his past four starts. He should remain competitive up in grade off a light weight. Bunta Baby ran on nicely near the inside to win a three-way go for second after making his run three from the rear. He was able to back up an improved third last start at Sha Tin. Loving Vibes ran on well near the outside to just miss second after a rails run from midfield. It was a much better effort wearing blinkers at his fourth start this term and first over the Valley 1,000m. Harmony Fire lost a placing late after a speed-chasing run from gate six. It was another honest run. Call To Command made headway late for fifth after settling one off travelling just worse than midfield. It was his best effort from seven local starts following a switch to the Valley. Star Performer came up one paced with every chance following a prominent run on the fence. One Love made a decent bid from the back after a sluggish start. It was a better performance on a non-threatening debut effort last month at Sha Tin.
