Race Four : (182) - LUKFOOK JEWELLERY DIABLING SHIMMERING GOLD COLLECTIONHANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Meters
Horse No 1 STELLAR EXPRESS (J186) B Avdulla Jumped only fairly.
B Avdulla reported that on jumping his right foot was dislodged from his stirrup for a short distance before he was able to reposition it.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 CRIMSON FLASH (K173) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 FAST RESPONDER (J295) P N Wong Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 CASA OF HONOR (K310) Z Purton Bumped near the 350 Metres.
Z Purton reported that his mount travelled well during the early stages but when asked for an effort near the 250 Metres the horse's action changed and he felt there may have been something amiss with it thereafter.
Trainer C W Chang stated that the horse was disadvantaged drawing barrier 1 and Jockey Purton having to make use of it in the early stages to hold a forward position.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of CASA OF HONOR was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.
Before being allowed to race again, CASA OF HONOR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 6 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) Y L Chung Over the final 300 Metres lay in and as result shifted away from the stand side rail.
Horse No 7 PEGAS (L075) H Doyle Jumped awkwardly.
Bumped leaving the 600 Metres.
Horse No 8 CHICKEN DINNER (L095) H Bentley Shifted out on jumping and was bumped.
A Badel (SPARKLING FELLOW) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 200 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of CHICKEN DINNER, resulting in CHICKEN DINNER having to be checked to avoid SPARKLING FELLOW.
A Badel was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 3 December 2025 at Happy Valley.
In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his very good race riding record.
Horse No 9 CHILL BUDDY (K469) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between SPARKLING FELLOW and CHICKEN DINNER, both of which shifted ground.
Near the 700 Metres was crowded by DANICA'S CHOICE.
Horse No 10 E HO HO (L119) C L Chau Leaving the 600 Metres shifted in and bumped with PEGAS.
Horse No 11 DANICA'S CHOICE (L096) K C Leung Jumped only fairly.
Near the 700 Metres was checked when briefly crowded by SPARKLING FELLOW (A Badel) which shifted out before being corrected by its rider.
A Badel was advised to exercise more care.
In assessing the incident the Stewards took into consideration that DANICA'S CHOICE had reacted adversely when K C Leung took a hold of his mount.
Horse No 12 SPARKLING FELLOW (K175) A Badel Shifted in on jumping and was bumped.
A Badel was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the 200 Metres (see CHICKEN DINNER).
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 SUPERB KING (K479) M Chadwick Near the 350 Metres shifted in and away from CRIMSON FLASH and made contact with CASA OF HONOR.
Horse No 14 VICTOR THE RAPID (J393) M L Yeung Near the 250 Metres was steadied and shifted to the inside of E HO HO to obtain clear running.

Crimson Flash travelled prominently in the centre of the track before hitting the lead 150m out and just scrambling in for a third straight win and first over the straight 1,000m from seven starts. It was a solid training performance following knee surgery in June. Fast Responder stayed on nicely for second after chasing the leader on the stands side from gate 14. It was a return to form for his favourite rider and 7lb claimer Britney Wong. Favourite Sparkling Fellow made ground for third after a midfield run drawn near the grandstand side. He's run well to place in both starts this term. Punted late Chill Buddy flashed home late for fourth travelling third last after getting squeezed out at the start. He's caught the eye twice and unseated his rider on another from three straight 1,000m starts this term. Sensationally-backed Parents' Love gradually faded after leading as expected from gate 12. He always seems to find a few too good in Class Three.
