Horse No 1 SUPREME MASTERMIND (K387) J McDonald Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 CHARITY TOGETHER (K254) R Kingscote Shifted in abruptly at the start, made contact with ILLUMINOUS and became unbalanced when being corrected by its rider.
Horse No 4 PACKING HURRICANE (H137) P N Wong Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 7 SUPER GOLDENDRAGON (K458) C L Chau Slow to begin.
Horse No 9 ILLUMINOUS (J170) J Orman On jumping became unbalanced when bumped by CHARITY TOGETHER which shifted in abruptly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
Before being allowed to race again, ILLUMINOUS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 10 KINGLY DEMEANOR (H486) M L Yeung Bumped at the start.
Horse No 11 SERANGOON (H296) Z Purton Shifted out at the start and made contact with KINGLY DEMEANOR.
Horse No 12 VIVA TASTE (K415) K C Leung Jumped only fairly.
K C Leung reported that his mount did not appreciate racing in amongst other horses and did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" Horse No 13 FIREFOOT (J183) H Bentley Briefly held up near the 400 Metres.

Double Win ran on from second last after a tardy start to mow down Supreme Mastermind in the concluding stages for a first win at his 18th start. He's always promised and the riding change to Hollie Doyle worked the oracle. Supreme Mastermind found one just too good after poking his head in front 150m out following a one-off trip from behind midfield. He appreciated the step up to 2,000m after an improved effort. Punted late Serangoon ran on well to finish a close third after making his run five back and two off the fence from gate four. He was able to build on a closing second on his season debut over 1,600m. Forever Glorious peaked on his run 50m out after briefly leading 200m out following a one-off trip from better than midfield. He's now produced fourths in two career runs over 2,000m. Charity Together ran on late for fifth after a wide trip travelling three from the rear.
