Race Six : (146) - SHENZHEN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1800Meters
Horse No 1 FRANTANCK (H429) P N Wong Jumped awkwardly.
Apprentice P N Wong stated that shortly after the start her saddle shifted back, placing her at some disadvantage throughout the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 FOREVER GLORIOUS (G229) K De Melo K De Melo could offer no excuse for his mount's failure to run on in the Home Straight.
Trainer B Crawford stated that, in his opinion, the horse was not suited by the "Good to Firm" track conditions.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 7 MISSION STRIKE (J377) L Ferraris Bumped at the start.
Horse No 8 PERFECT PAIRING (J331) B Avdulla Jumped only fairly and then was bumped at the start.

Post-time favourite Hakka Radiance settled one out, one back before hitting the lead 250m out and drawing clear for a third straight win and first in Class Four from 27 starts. Firefoot stayed on nicely for second after a one-off trip from better than midfield. He's a winner waiting to happen with seconds in back-to-back runs. Early favourite Ocean Impact just failed to get up for second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's building towards a win but likely needs a longer trip. Management Folks flew home late to just miss a placing after making his run at the rear from gate 11. It was a good effort first up this term and he's clearly crying out for a further trip. Mission Strike ran on steadily along the inside for fifth without threatening the top four after a rails run from behind midfield. Celestial Patch whacked on one paced to just miss fifth prize money following a rails run from midfield. He might be one to keep safe shortly in Class Five.
