Racing Incident Report
Race One : (133) - WA MEI SHAN HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1650Meters
Horse No 2 VIEW ALL THINGS (K101) Z Purton Bumped at the start.
Z Purton could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
Horse No 3 NIGHT PUROSANGUE (J510) B Avdulla Near the winning post raced tight to the inside of COURIER MAGIC (C L Chau) which shifted out when being ridden along.
C L Chau was advised to exercise more care and to stop riding and straighten his mounts in similar circumstances.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 COURIER MAGIC (H290) C L Chau Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with ALL EYES ON ME.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Leaving the 1300 Metres improved into a narrow run to the inside of GO GO GO and as a result got its head up when being steadied.
Held up for clear running between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 YEE CHEONG RAIDER (J176) H Bowman Jumped only fairly.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 SILVER KING (H420) M Chadwick Shortly after the start bumped with GO GO GO.
M Chadwick reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race and was under pressure from the 600 Metres before giving ground in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
Horse No 9 ALL EYES ON ME (J453) M L Yeung Bumped on jumping.
Horse No 11 GO GO GO (H196) D Probert Bumped at the start.
Horse No 12 HARRY'S HERO (H332) K Teetan K Teetan reported that from the outside barrier his instructions were to take up a forward position.
He added that when unable to cross runners to his inside HARRY'S HERO was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event before giving ground in the Home Straight.
Trainer P F Yiu confirmed the instructions and said those instructions were issued on the basis that he did not want the horse to get too far back in the early stages and to endeavour to take advantage of the relatively light weight of 120 lbs.
Horse No 13 BRAVE OF FRIENDS (J382) R Kingscote Jumped only fairly, shifted out, made contact with VIEW ALL THINGS and became unbalanced.
Horse No 6 RUN YES RUN (J264) K De Melo Withdrawn on 29.10.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore).
Before being allowed to race again, RUN YES RUN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

After surging to the lead 80m out following a wide trip with cover travelling better than midfield from gate nine, Night Purosangue just held off Courier Magic for a first win at his 10th start. Courier Magic ran on nicely near the outside to make it close on the wire after a wide trip travelling towards the rear. He's a winner waiting to happen with placings in his past three starts across both surfaces. Punted late, Foremost Teddy wouldn't go down without a fight after poking his head in front 250m out after chasing the speed one off in third from gate seven. It was an improved effort at his third start and first on the dirt this season. Euro Rocks just missed third by a bob of the heads after a one-off trip travelling forward of midfield. He's held his form with fourths in all three starts this term. Go Go Go ran on steadily for fifth after a wide trip with cover from behind midfield. It was another honest effort on this surface. Yee Cheong Raider ran on without threatening after making his run two from the rear. View All Things faded tamely after dictating the run from gate two. It was another disappointing run despite a downgrade.
