Racing Incident Report
Race Eight : (130) - THE PREMIER BOWL (HANDICAP) - Class G2 - 1200Meters
Horse No 4 FAST NETWORK (J358) A Badel From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Shifted in near the 1100 Metres and was bumped.
Horse No 5 PACKING HERMOD (J277) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 RAGING BLIZZARD (H368) B Avdulla When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight and as to whether there was an opportunity to shift to the outside of HELIOS EXPRESS sooner than he did B Avdulla stated that his instructions today were similar to those issued at previous starts to hold the horse up for one final run as RAGING BLIZZARD does not possess the ability to sustain a long run.
He said with these instructions in mind he followed HELIOS EXPRESS into the Home Straight where he remained racing behind that horse.
He added that he had expected HELIOS EXPRESS to take him into the event further than it did which required him then to shift to that runner's outside near the 250 Metres where he placed his mount under full pressure and it ran home well.
Trainer J Size confirmed the instructions issued.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 INVINCIBLE SAGE (H301) M F Poon From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 DIVANO (J142) Y L Chung Near the 400 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between TOMODACHI KOKOROE and PACKING HERMOD and as a result was shifted back to the inside to obtain clear running.
Horse No 11 BOTTOMUPTOGETHER (J316) E C W Wong Leaving the 800 Metres raced tight to the inside of BEAUTY WAVES.
Horse No 12 MUGEN (H338) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
Near the 1100 Metres was bumped by FAST NETWORK which shifted in.
Horse No 13 TOMODACHI KOKOROE (H303) H Bentley Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 14 INVINCIBLE SHIELD (K168) M L Yeung As the start was effected lowered its head, resulting in INVINCIBLE SHIELD being slow to begin.
A warning was placed on the barrier manners of the horse.

Tomodachi Kokoroe settled handy to the speed one off the fence before surging to the lead 200m and drawing clear for a seventh win from 34 starts and all three starts this term. Raging Blizzard zipped home late for second after making his run four from the rear. He was able to back up a near win last start over the straight 1,000m. Favourite Packing Hermod ran on well for third after a one-off trip from midfield. He's as honest as the day is long. Punted late Wunderbar kept on gamely to just win a battle for fourth after a prominent run wide and without cover from gate 11. Helios Express was doing his best work late after a one-off trip from behind midfield. Fast Network ran on late to finish on the bottom of a three-way go for fourth following a patient ride second last from gate 12. Lucky With You peaked on his run 100m out after looming a chance near the inside 200m out following a rails run from midfield.
