Recap by phillip woo

Punted late On The Lash had a handy run wide and without cover from gate 10 and after advancing to the lead 850m out, he kept finding for a maiden win in class record time at his 16th start. Cool Blue ran on nicely to grab second after getting badly held up for a run between the 400m and 150m travelling behind midfield on the fence. It was a good run with a step up to 1,800m and return to turf. Celestial Harmony plugged on well for third after settling third and one off the fence with cover coming to the final bend. It was an improved effort with the claim well utilised at his third straight run down in Class Five. Favourite Yiu Cheung Victory stayed on for fourth after a rails run from midfield. It was his best effort to date following a downgrade. Gold Tack was doing his best work late for fifth after making his run second last from gate 13. He has gone okay this term. Mr Aladdin ran on without threatening from the rear of the field.
