Race Six : (100) - FUNG MO HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 FIND MY LOVE (H110) H Bowman Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
For a short distance near the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of TOURBILLON GOLFER.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 STAR PERFORMER (K207) D Probert Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 4 GOLDEN FORTUNE (K500) A Atzeni Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between RUNJEET and FIND MY LOVE which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider H Bowman.
Horse No 5 MR DESIRA (K411) C Y Ho Bumped on jumping.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 YEE CHEONG SPIRIT (H379) R Kingscote Shifted out at the start and made contact with MR DESIRA.
Horse No 7 DR GOLDEN GENERAL (K412) B Avdulla Bumped on jumping.
Leaving the 900 Metres shifted in and made contact with the running rail.
Near the 250 Metres lay in and again made contact with the running rail.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 CIRCUIT DUFFY (J501) K C Leung Jumped awkwardly.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 9 GREAT LEGACY (K187) J Orman Shortly after the start raced in restricted room between DR GOLDEN GENERAL and STAR PERFORMER which shifted out slightly.
As a result GREAT LEGACY was eased behind STAR PERFORMER.
Leaving the 900 Metres FIND MY LOVE shifted in and away from RUNJEET.
GREAT LEGACY, which was following and racing ungenerously, got its head up, shifted in and made contact with the running rail.
GREAT LEGACY continued to race ungenerously for some distance thereafter.
Horse No 11 RUNJEET (K276) L Ferraris Bumped on jumping.
Horse No 12 ZETTA FORCE (J546) K Teetan Near the 900 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid LEGENDARY IMPACT which shifted in.

Favourite Mr Desira dictated the pace from gate two, turned the final bend nearly two lengths on top and just held on late for a maiden win from three starts. Find My Love made it close on the wire after coming off the heels of Tourbillon Golfer for a clear run 150m out following a rails run from midfield. It was a solid run first up carrying top weight. Tourbillon Golfer plugged on a non-threatening third after chasing the winner one off from gate 10. It was another honest effort following a switch to the Valley. Yee Cheong Spirit held his ground for fourth after a prominent run on the fence. It was a better effort second up on his return to the Valley 1,200m of his only previous win. Zetta Force made some ground late for fifth after biding his time two from the rear. It was an OK run first up for his new trainer this term. Legendary Impact made inroads late to just miss fifth prize money after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was an improved effort following a move to blinkers. Runjeet faded after getting an ideal trip one off travelling better than midfield. It was a disappointing effort at his first go over the Valley 1,200m.
