Race Six : (90) - SHAM TSENG HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 GLORIOUS SUCCESS (K062) Z Purton Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the finish when racing in restricted room between BEAUTY MISSILE and PEARL OF PANG'S which shifted out slightly.
Horse No 2 PRESTIGE RICKY (K009) C L Chau Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between ROMANTIC FANTASY and GLORIOUS SUCCESS.
Horse No 3 MATSU VICTOR (H472) C Y Ho Approaching the 300 Metres was steadied when crowded between PRESTIGE RICKY (C L Chau) and BEAUTY MISSILE (A Badel), both of which shifted ground.
Both C L Chau and A Badel were advised to exercise more care.
Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 6 PEARL OF PANG'S (J447) K C Leung Shifted out at the start and was bumped.

Horse No 7 SPLENDID FORCE (K120) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by BULL ATTITUDE which shifted in.
Horse No 8 HAPPY UNIVERSE (J533) R Kingscote Near the 100 Metres shifted in and made contact with BULL ATTITUDE.

Horse No 9 DASHING DRAGON (J464) E C W Wong A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 FIGHT TIME (H409) P N Wong Shortly after the start was bumped by PEARL OF PANG'S which shifted out slightly.

Horse No 11 BULL ATTITUDE (K305) L Hewitson Trainer M Newnham confirmed that he had instructed L Hewitson to ride the horse with cover today.
Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Briefly held up near the 300 Metres.
Near the 100 Metres improved into a narrow run to the inside of HAPPY UNIVERSE as that runner shifted in slightly.
As a result BULL ATTITUDE was momentarily crowded by HAPPY UNIVERSE, resulting in those two runners making contact.

Horse No 12 TURF PHOENIX (J294) H T Mo After the event H T Mo reported that the instructions were to hold a midfield position.
He said when his mount commenced well he was able to race in the lead without being pressured to do so.
He added that once he obtained the lead his mount raced keenly and did not settle throughout the early and middle stages.
Horse No 13 ROMANTIC FANTASY (H168) Y L Chung Shortly after the start was eased when crowded by BEAUTY MISSILE which shifted in slightly.
Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to the heels of FIGHT TIME.

Bull Attitude settled midfield on the rails and just got up along the inside to overhaul Happy Universe 50m out for a maiden win at his eighth start. The step up to 1,600m worked the oracle. Punted late Happy Universe did everything right but get the win after leading 350m out following a speed-tracking run from gate 13. He's close to another win after placing in both starts this term. Favourite Pearl Of Pang's stayed on a nonthreatening third after a prominent run wide without cover from gate six. It was another honest performance. Well-backed late Beauty Missile ran on nicely for fourth after a wide trip travelling four from the rear. He's a winner waiting to happen from a better draw. Glorious Success was short of room late after a wide trip with cover from midfield. He should find his mark shortly in this grade. Good Good kept on one paced after sitting third with cover one off the fence. It was an OK effort carrying more weight.
