Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (88) - SHA TSUI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 2 GOOD LUCK BABE (K016) Y L Chung Y L Chung was issued with a reprimand for using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 150 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 THE HEIR (H459) E C W Wong After the event Apprentice E C W Wong advised the intention was to hold a forward position.
He said THE HEIR jumped awkwardly and as a result lost ground when then obliged him to settle at the rear of the field.
He added that in the Home Straight THE HEIR was unable to make up any appreciable ground from this position.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 BLING BLING GENIUS (J397) A Badel Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No 5 GLORIASTAR (K439) L Ferraris Jumped awkwardly, made contact with SIGHT DREAMER and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 6 EXCEL WONGCHOY (J194) R Kingscote Bumped at the start.
Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.
Horse No 7 INNO SUPER (K319) C L Chau Raced keenly in the middle stages.
For a short distance near the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between WINNING MACHINE and GOOD LUCK BABE.
Horse No 8 SUPERB GUY (K323) L Hewitson Jumped only fairly.
Leaving the 200 Metres endeavoured to obtain a narrow run to the inside of WINNING MACHINE which was commencing to give ground.
When WINNING MACHINE shifted in near the 150 Metres SUPERB GUY was then checked when disappointed for this run and as a consequence could not be tested to the finish of the event.
Horse No 9 BIG STRIDE (K194) A Atzeni Shifted in shortly after the start and was corrected by its rider.
Horse No 10 POSITIVE SMILE (J467) M L Yeung Shortly after the start was crowded by BIG STRIDE which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider.
In the early stages raced keenly and near the 1100 Metres got its head up when positioned close to TOY SOLTERO.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 SIGHT DREAMER (J542) M Chadwick Bumped on jumping.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 12 WINNING MACHINE (K239) H Bentley Jumped only fairly and then made contact with EXCEL WONGCHOY.
After the event H Bentley reported that when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to make use of his mount to cross runners to his inside and lead to avoid being caught wide and without cover.
He added as a consequence WINNING MACHINE did not finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 13 DREAMING WINNER (K046) M F Poon After the event M F Poon stated that the intention was to hold a midfield position.
He said when DREAMING WINNER commenced well it was able to obtain a more forward position without being pressured to do so.
Horse No 14 TOY SOLTERO (J268) D Probert Jumped awkwardly.
After the event D Probert reported that his mount over-raced in the middle stages.
Horse No WINNING DATA (H230) J Orman Withdrawn on 11.10.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter BLING BLING GENIUS.
Before being allowed to race again, WINNING DATA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

In a thrilling finish, Good Luck Babe ran on from the box seat to poke his head in front 50m and just prevail for a second win at his 16th start. Positive Smile ran on strongly through the centre to miss by a head after making his run fourth last from gate 13. He's caught the eye in both starts this term. Rank outsider Excel Wongchoy found a couple just too good after surging to the lead near the 100m following a one-off trip from midfield. It was a much better effort after failing to figure last month over the dirt 1,650m. Inno Super rallied nicely near the inside to just miss a placing after making his run five back along the inside. He's naturally coming to hand. Bling Bling Genius came from near the rear and with two wider out to finish a close fifth. He's made a nice impression in both starts this term. Dreaming Winner wasn't beaten far in the end after chasing the leader Winning Machine from gate five.
