Horse No 1 RAINBOW WARRIOR (K348) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly and was bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 2 BITS SUPERSTAR (J362) P N Wong Shifted out on jumping and made contact with HAPPY ACTION.
Near the 700 Metres made contact with the running rail.
Horse No 3 DAILY TROPHY (H283) L Hewitson Lay out making the Home Turn and in the Home Straight.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 GIMME FIVE (J099) M F Poon After the event M F Poon reported that his mount resented the kickback from the leader SPICY SPANGLE and, in his opinion, this was the reason for the horse failing to run on in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384) M Chadwick Slow to begin.
Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 HAPPY ACTION (K399) M L Yeung Bumped on jumping and became unbalanced.

Horse No 9 ROBOT KNIGHT (H464) E C W Wong After the event Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount travelled satisfactorily outside the lead in the early stages but gave ground noticeably over the concluding stages and he could offer no explanation for its disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of ROBOT KNIGHT was considered disappointing.
Before being allowed to race again, ROBOT KNIGHT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Daily Trophy was wide without cover around midfield before hitting the lead near the 200m and drawing clear for a fourth career win over the dirt 1,200m. Happy Action ran on nicely for second after a one-off trip from midfield. As a son of Deep Field, he appreciated a switch to dirt racing. Wiseman made good ground late near the outside for third after a one-off trip travelling behind midfield. Like Happy Action, the switch in surfaces produced a career-best effort. Firming favourite Notthesillyone had his chance but found a few too good after a prominent run one off the fence. He was able to back up a placing on his all-weather debut last month in Class Five. California Star came from last for fifth. It was a good effort at his first run following a suspensory injury in May. Hinokami Kagura was doing his best work late for sixth after making his run second last from gate 11. He's run on all right in both starts from awkward draws this term.
